Ch 1
The world was now rid of Kira. No more senseless killings, no more people being afraid. It would still take some time for the world to become completely normal, but many believe that the world will never be completely normal ever again. The six years of Kira’s reign had ended. The majority of the world resumed their daily lives, like nothing had ever happened. With the majority of the world’s population resuming their daily lives, once again crime and violence were on the rise.
Since Kira was gone the criminals could do as they please, and not be afraid of getting killed. Even though Kira was gone there were still Kira worshipers, who believed that one day Kira, would return and pass righteous judgment on the evil people who still lived in the world. All of his worshipers kept low profiles and never spoke a word about their god. Of course they all wanted to preach about their god to others so they too could become Kira followers.
But now that the world has gone back to the way it used to be, you couldn’t openly talk about or worship Kira. Still the Kira worshipers believed that one day Kira would come back and take back his throne as God of the new world. With Kira ruling the world again it would truly be the perfect utopia. The second coming of Kira was closer than anyone thought, and he would rule over his world once again…
It has been one month since Light Yagami or Kira had died. After the news announcement that Kira was no longer, most of the world rejoiced. Kira was finally gone and the people could finally feel safe again. The Kira worshipers were in disbelief; their god had been taken away from them. Their god that protected them, who promised to rid the world of evil. Now who would protect them from the evils of the world? Who would they turn to for protection when the criminals and all of the violent crimes became their reality once more?
They had one more person to turn too. Misa… Misa was the one closest to Kira. After all they were to be married. After Light died Misa had to help all of the Kira worshipers find a safe place that they could all live and worship Kira in peace. For the time being Misa took all of the worshipers into the mountains where they would start their community. The worshipers were glad that they finally had a safe haven to live and follow Kira’s teachings.
The men started constructing small buildings so the worshipers could have a place to stay, while they completed the construction on houses and larger buildings for the community. The worshipers were to live in these temporary houses until their community was finished. Everyone worked together. Even Misa helped. Misa’s temporary house was larger then the rest of the houses. Her house contained three servant bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, two bathrooms, and her room. This place was going to become a safe haven for all Kira worshipers to live safely and praise their god.
Misa became known as Lady Kira throughout their community. It was a fitting title since Misa was to be married to god. Even though Misa looked happy and remained cheerful she was depressed and very sad. The man she loved had been taken away from her. Misa would spend days locked up in her room, eating nothing and speaking to no one. Her servant’s tried to get her to open the door. But day after day they failed.
“Lady Kira… please open the door…” Asked one of her servants.
There was no answer inside the room.
“Lady Kira, you need to eat it isn’t healthy….”
The older servant sighed and shook her head.
“It’s no use Uoa, she won’t open the door.”
“Your right… I just wished she would eat Kyia.”
A knock was heard from the front door. It was almost dusk, and the blue sky was quickly fading away into the darkness of the nighttime. The two servant women looked at each other. Uoa went to answer it. She walked down the hallway and made her way to the door. Another knock was heard.
“Are we impatient tonight…” Uoa mumbled as she grabbed the gold colored doorknob. She opened the door to see a postman standing in front of her. Wearing all blue and carrying a brown satchel the post man gave a smile when he saw Uoa.
“May I help you sir?” Uoa asked politely.
“Is this the residence of Misa Amane?”
“May I ask why you need to know if she lives here?”
“Well you see miss, I have this letter for her.” The postman said as he handed over the letter to Uoa. Uoa examined the address on the envelope. She also examined the postmark date. Her eyes widened when she saw the date and the name of the sender.
Uoa looked up at the postman once again.
“Sir, are you sure this isn’t some sort of a trick? It is quite a mean one if it is.”
“Oh miss, I am positive this isn’t a trick. I was personally handed this letter and was told to bring it here on this date, at this time and at this exact location.”
“Very well then.” Uoa couldn’t believe her ears. This is impossible. This postman couldn’t have known that Lady Kira was going to be here… no he shouldn’t have known that anyone was going to be here. Heck we didn’t even know we were going to be here….
“If you excuse me miss, I have other deliveries to make this evening.” The postman said as he lifted his hat and walked back to his waiting vehicle.
Uoa watched the postman get into his truck and slowly drive down the rugged mountain pass. After she knew he was gone she turned around and went back into the house. She quickly made her way down the hallway towards Misa’s room.
“Lady Kira! Open up! I have an important letter for you!” Uoa said as she knocked on the door.
“Lady Kira Please! It is from Lord Kira himself!”
The door quickly flew open. Misa grabbed the letter out of Uoa’s hand, and shut the door.
Meanwhile, the postman started getting awfully tired behind the wheel of his truck. He shut his eyes just for a moment. All it took was a moment for the truck to veer off into the guardrail. Hitting the guardrail at full speed the truck overturned and did many roll’s down the rocky mountain side. The truck finally came to a stop. It landed in some small ravine overturned. After all of the smoke cleared you could see a puddle of blood seeping out from the overturned truck…
Misa quickly tore open the letter. She began reading it.
“Dear Misa,
If you are reading this then I am probably dead. Near has won and I am sure that the world has started going back to normal. This means that criminals and violent crimes are happening once more. I had made so much progress as God of the new world. Finally people were beginning to understand Kira’s ideals. The world cannot go back to the way it used to be. There are still too many evil’s in this world, many of which I had not yet extinguished.
Misa, you do remember the night before I died right? My dear Misa that night was one of the best nights I have had. I’m sure you were also happy. I finally got to make love to you. It was what you always wanted. And since we did that, I would take a pregnancy test if I were you…”
