this is a poem i made when i was looking out MY window- but don't tell my mom i was on the roof... she'd kill me- WAY too overprotective... but i do it anyway.
She peers through the doorway
stepping from toe to toe
the door screams in alarm
attempting to let all know
She jumps back in frustration
her silky hair swishing around
she peers distantly through the window
to this house she hated being bound
Seeing no one outside
she decides to get dressed
the moon gave in all it's light
making her vision the best
She opened the screen
and it slid ooh so quick
she moved it aside
with a small click
she pulled it inside
and set it down
a smile on her face
and no where, a frown
she hopped onto the roof
the shingles threatening to slide
beacuse she's so distantly far
there's no reason to hide
yet away
it was where she wanted to be
not locked up in a house
she wanted to be free
yet this could only be
a dream at Midnight
for she could never afford
her mom's talk or fight
omigosh- can i get some feedback? It's actually what i did one night... and god- i wish i had my old house back. i HAD a big yard... then i moved- and then i HAD to hide.... *sigh*
so what do you think?
