well here it is!

lonely road
i walk along this lonely road.
with no ones hand to hold.
i keep my head up high.
i try to hold back the tears i wanna cry.
all the saddness swells up in my face.
i feel like i have no place.
i've loved, but not loved back.
my heart cracked.
i thought he was the right guy.
but now i know that was a lie.
i'm all alone.
afraid to let my feelings be shown.
i know it would have never worked out in the end.
i guess we could never be more than friends.
i've tried to move on.
but somthing in my heart says it's wrong.
it's over, i've done all i can.
nobody will ever understand.

please give me advice!:illgetu:

here it is! hope you enjoy!

A Pencil to Paper

Putting a pencil to paper is like mixing words with music to make a stunning stanza
The way it glides and twirls while it’s racing down the page. Not making a sound.

Putting what you want on paper is a Warfield
Racking your brain to it’s limits just to find the right words to fit in your piece

Whether it’s purpose is music poetry or art the feeling is the same.
The rush you get when it’s complete feels as if you’ve just won a marathon.

You feel on top of the world marveling at your masterpiece
Bragging and boasting to anyone that will listen

But then you start the process again, hacking away at your paper like a mad man
When that’s complete, you look back to the old, thinking to yourself what a waste of time it was when you have the new to compare it to.

please five me advice! :squee:

Hey Phish.
I've merged your two threads and moved them into out Poetry subforum. Please update this thread with any of your new pieces, instead of making a new topic each time.
