Never Left
I thought it was over, but that’s just not true
It seems I just can’t get over you
I’ve tried and tried, but nothing works
The love that we had just keeps coming back
And though I tried to walk away
Here I am today saying I love you
Because I just can’t see me without you
So here we stand hand in hand
Back in love the way it was before
I walked away and time shall tell
That this was true, the love that never went away.

Long time
It’s been a longtime since I could put words
Into a rhyme or a simple line of poetry
For a longtime I wondered why?
Till I saw you on that day
When I realized you were why
My words had lost their rhyme and simple lines
That when put together made poems
Which showed feeling and thought
So as I write this I think of you
For you are my inspiration
You are the one who makes me able
To write these lines, I am whole
For I have found a muse
Who makes my words touch paper once more.

Memory’s Refound
The rain is pouring down
Like the memories in my mind
It’s taking me back through times
That we spent together
You’re talking to me right now
Almost like we did back then
But something’s missing
We both know what it is
Though we try to hide it
When will we say it?
The sun is shining now
As the clouds drift away
Like the spaces in my mind
I can’t seem to find
There’s a rainbow up there somewhere
With the hopes and dreams
We both want,
But it seems just out of reach
I’m sittin in my car
As you walk up to my door
I roll the window down to invite you in
And when we drive away,
It seems all our troubles disappear
Then we’re right back where
We’re supposed to be,
And what’s missing has returned
You and me and the love we’ve found.

Run away with me
To another place and time
Drift into my open mind
Hold me close by your side
For your life I give mine
Time stands still, space divides
I am found in your disarray
You want me and I want you
But in this world we are two
Let’s leave this place you and I
And find some space
In the great divide
Only time will tell
If we make it
With love by our side
And fate at the door.

Beautiful Stranger
Changing my emotions so fast
I find comfort in this beautiful stranger
who makes me wonder, makes
me be myself, and shows
me things I thought impossible.
Eyes like the ever-changing sunrise
and hands that turn to velvet in a touch,
a cunning smile and
quick wit,strong and caring
My heart is at a loss to
understand what to feel for
this beautiful stranger has
my emotions confused and
my heart in my hands.

Waiting For You
I sit here and every night
I cry for you, my heart aches and
my mind wanders waiting
for you to return I miss you
and I’m not myself without you
but, I know we will pull through
cause your with me every night in my dreams,
the morning sun washing over me
as I dream of a time and place of not so long ago
wishing that I could go back to
that time but wishing even more
that my love who is with me in my dreams
would be back in my arms
when I wake and make everything right again
but for now I’ll dream of him and
hope and pray for his return someday soon.

If I didn't have you
I'd have nothing to say
nothing to do,
nothing to think about
on these dark gloomy days
If I didn't have you
I'd walk in my sorrows
day after day,
night after night
wondering what I should do
If I didn't have you
I’d never have found
the true me inside,
and never found out
how black and white
can be turned into color.

If I could stay here and be your girl I would
If I could need you to love me like you should
There wouldn’t be no second guessing who I’d be in love with
But as it stands my hearts spoken for
The man in my dreams loves me like no other I’ve ever known
He’s been far away but he’s always near to my heart
No matter where I am
But right now you’re here in my arms, searching for a girl
You don’t know, but wish she would let you in
Let you love her like you should and make her wishes

Morning Glory
Let light fill your heart
As the glorious dawn approaches
Rise like the sun to any occasion
like a beautiful mornings glory
opening at dawn and
closing at twilight,
be radiant in the day
and gracious at night
then you will be loved for
who you are, not what you are,
but by the way you shine
in your own light as the morning glory
shines at the breaking of dawn.

As I lay here eye’s closed, heart racing
I think of you, I say your name and
A million memories come flooding back
Into my mind and with each one more Feelings, more urges to run to be by your side
To have you to hold me in your loving embrace
And a smile crosses over my face as I think to

If only we face the fight and with no fear Because nothing, no distance, nor people Nor anything on this plant can tear us apart for
Our love is stronger than any around, because it is true
And pure of spirit, it can wield the
Sword to strike down all evil and prevail to
Live in a land of happiness and wealth.

Broken Angel
If only you could see me now
For who I truly am
You’d not see an angel
Perfect as can be
But one with a broken heart
And tattered wings
Who is struggling to break free
Of chains unseen
Now slowly but surely
The chains are dissipating as

Angel is slowly emerging and

And radiant being that she

I was going to write you a song
but the notes didn’t turn out right,
was going to sing it to
you but I just cant,
nothing it seems is
the right melody
for your heart to mine
nothing fits into a rhyme
or a sense of time

One Tear
A tear falls from my eye
Looking out my window into
The open night sky
I think where is my knight
Me… I’m alone tonight yet again
I the princess is in tears
Crying for her love who has
Been taken far away, tell this
Heart why this happened, tell
This heart what was so
Wrong that we loved each other
But I am to marry tomorrow
My tears that I cry are not of joy
But of sorrow for my lost love
What shall I do Run away
That’s what I shall do
And I will set this kingdom

The Greatest Power in the Universe
Galaxies, planets, moons, stars
Make up our vast indefinite universe
And on our small planet life exists
Along with the most powerful emotion
Known to mankind, that power is love.
Love is the most mysterious thing, it
Makes you feel invincible and picks you
Up when your sad and broken but It
Can bring pleasure unlike any other
As well as pain, but in the mist of it all
Love conquers all pain in the end though at
First it may seem hopeless love will
Always pull through, so no matter where
You are if your truly in love with
Someone, even if they are far away
They will find their way back to you for
Love is even more powerful than anything
This universe has ever faced.

Summer Rain
As the warm drops
Hit my face, I know
The world is renewing itself
And coming into a new state
I look around me
To see a new beauty
Like I have never seen before
And as we walk
The rain pours down,
We hardly notice because
It seems love can make
The rain disappear,
I turn to you and you smile
Then as quickly as it came
It fades away and with your smile goes the rain
And out comes the sun
And as the sun shines
Everything is once again right.

Flaming Desire
Though the flames of life may burn all around us
I know that love will keep us safe from harm
and lead us out of the flames untouched
so as the firestorm burns all around us,
the burning desire in my heart that loves
you will never fade as time pass by
but remain strong and grow into
a raging fire of love that will never die even
when time ends and all is gone
my flaming desire for you will never end.

Time ticks by steady and true
As my heartbeats with rhythm in tune
To the love that you give to me
When all else is through
Come light or come dark
We are never apart
No space or no time
Could ever define the love
That you give to me
That is truly divine
Though time may change us
And people try to break our bond
We will stand strong knowing
Love conquers all
Though these are times
When we wont see eye to eye
Or wander from one another’s side
But we will always find compromises
And that is why our love is true and

Finally Together
Dancin in the dark under the stars
together after all these years now as
the night has set into place
our love is allowed to take flight
now no one is keeping us apart
and as the stars shine I look
into your eyes and I’m lost in your arms
and I feel safe once more
I pray that this moment never ends
and that finally people will
see that we are truly meant to be.
