Just a poem I wrote for a contest...
and because I doubt that you will participate in that contest,
I will post it here and see what you think of this newb...

Walking down that horrid line
In the middle of a dead end town
the murmurs of those dead men
calling in the silent wind

It's peaceful for the moment
the sky's a brilliant blue
if only this moment lasted forever
We wouldn't be walking down that deadly line

If the sound of machinery would settle down,
I would believe that this bloody battle would be over
but the blackness in their hearts
Keep's us moving down that blood tainted path

and you know what sucks, just yesterday I found out that I have to recite it to the world (well, my school but it still feels that way..)
Man, language arts class is mean... TT^TT
