Hello! As the title says, this will be a topic for me to post my poems and such, and for you to critique them. Of course, I'm not the only one who can post work. :] I don't want to be stingy or selfish. I hate that. D; Anyways, I suppose I should get on with it. I will post a variety of poetry I have written, and possibly the occasional set of song lyrics. I'm not looking for horribly bad reviews, but I can take any and all criticism with a grain of salt. I, personally, don't favor any of my work, but that shouldn't effect your ideas.

Judging Eyes

A Weed
Among A
Garden of
Gorgeous Roses.
A Mute
Mixed In

Outspoken Youth.
A nonconformist
Thrown between
The conforming.
No fitting
In with
the Crowd,
No blending
With the
General Populace.
There is
One Word
To describe
How they
Feel About

SHUNNED.

We step to the left,

One spin,
Maybe a ltittle twirl?

Shimmy, shimmy
Spin, spin
Step, step
And a little twirl

We dance;
You tease.
I blush;
You lead.

I place my head
On your shoulder
You turn a little red
As we embrace each other

In rythmn with the music
We step so perfectly.
A small glimmer surrounds
Our dancing bodies.

It doesn't matter
What's happening around us
For in this instant
We're in total bliss

I sigh
As we slow down
It's horrible
That this has to end

I wish
We could
Dance the
Night Away

Empty Inside

Face down, you're losing
Head up high, I'm laughing.
Tremble, tremble, keep yourself going.
Chuckle, chuckle, I'll just keep on.
Try to fight, try to win.
It doesn't really matter, it makes no sense.
I stand here, enveloped in your blood,
A frown upon my lips,
You won't be restored.

It's bothersome, it's a burden.
It's all I'm good at, though.
Soon it will be you, as well.
You'll take my place,
Or at least, hope you will.
I'll always be best, I'll always be on top.
You're destined for a life of destitude,
A life of disaster;
And you know what? It makes me smile.

I feel better knowing there's nothing left
I feel better knowing how empty you really are
For the truth is,
I have nothing left, I'm entirely empty.
We weem to be shells.
Trying to find our way to Neverland.
I'll beat you, though.
You stand no chance
And it makes me cry.

We'll try for reborn;
We'll try for new lives
Away from the never-ending nightmare
Away from the danger, the sorrow, the death..
We might go higher
We might be greater
We might not make it at all
None of it matters
As long as I have you.

So long as we don't end this,

The odds are against us

How amazing this ordeal is,
How intriuging you are

Feelings Pending

Feelings well.

I try to mend
The broken pieces
That are left,
But only fail.

I try to heal
Our gaping wounds

You thrive on
Bringing me down,

I severely doubt

Let alone, love.

Some worthless,

An empty smile
Plastered on a lieing face
Hidden behind sorrowed eyes
Gasping for an escape

One breath, incomplete.
One chance, lost.
One soul, broken.
One smile, FAKE.

Seemingly a star,
Seemingly the best.
Lie's don't light up
What can't be seen, honey.

The truth is slowly seeping
From the lieing grip of the beholder.
Empty smiles turn
to empty frowns.

What a shock,
What a horror,
That I might
Find out your true self.

Baby, you've shown me
How hollow stars really are...
