Well, I figure why not? Over the years I have created a few poems, so I shall post them here. Some are fairly rotten, but were fun to create anyways. *laughs*
Soulsong
I could not deny who I was,
But even so I tried.
The pack was coming for my soul,
My human shell had died.
Weres don’t exist I told myself,
They’re merely just a myth.
And yet I knew it was a fact,
I could not argue with.
From nose to snout and fur from skin,
They changed the face I’d worn.
The pack accepted me with love,
My old life now was torn.
And looking to the moon I knew,
I’d always been their kin.
And now my soul was finally free,
To roam with them again.

Sir Howard the Coward
Sir Howard was strong, Sir Howard was suave,
Sir Howard wore socks that were the color mauve,
Sir Howard was the size of a tall castle's tower,
Sir Howard was great... except that he was a coward.
One day his fair maiden told him to kill a mouse,
Sir Howard got so scared he ran out of the house.
He ran into a dragon that he ought to have tried to slay,
"Boy," said Sir Howard, "This just is not my day."
So Sir Howard the coward ran- boy did he run!
Till he heard his fair maiden shout, "Supper is done!"
So he ran back quickly to his tall house,
"Sir Howard," the maiden said, "You have yet to kill that mouse!"
Sir Howard the coward ran and hid under the bed,
Only to find beady eyes belonging to another's head.
"It\'s a monster!" Sir Howard the coward said,
Seeing the mouse, Sir Howard the coward fainted dead.

INDEPENDENCE DAY
The night grows darker and everyone looks to the sky,
And we all start to wonder when the sparks will fly.
The little ones grow bored and begin to sigh,
"Why can't they start now?" they ask, "Why?"
My family settles down on our big blanket,
And I look at old faithful Daisy, our pet.
I wonder if this is what it is all about,
Then I remember the battles and the scouts.
Stars and stripes and all those things,
What does it mean to fly under the eagle's wings?
It means of battles won and battles lost,
That would add up to the total cost.
It means of lives lost to get the battle won,
And earn freedom under the American sun.
Families sit with each other and get closer in the spirit,
Saying "Isn't this great?" to the person nearest.
The sky is suddenly colored with light,
And people say "Oooh! Wasn't that bright?"
We have a great time until the sky grows dim,
Then we watch the sky until it flares for the end.
It is over, the battle is over in the sky,
And my family gets up from where they lie.
As we leave I remember how it all started and smile,
Because I know that many will still go the extra mile,
To everyone who reads this I say,
Never forget how we earned Independence Day!

Heres a really old one...
Rider of the Apocalypse
On a pale horse I ride,
Across the land so dark.
Once an Eden made by God,
Now twisted by man’s heart.
I break the chains that bind them all,
Release them from their Hell.
They won’t know pain and war again,
Since God forgives them all.
I pity them, the human fools,
Of fate and circumstance.
They’ll start anew, part of God’s dance,
And know true peace at last.
All is dark and now the three,
And I can finally rest.
The world is new and free once more,
From ashes into dust.

This one needs to be tweaked a bit but the general idea is kinda nice...
The Dragoon of the Skies
Chains of mythril bound her tight,
Gold fetters held her feet.
Her vassal was long dead and gone,
Her world was torn apart.
Her wings lied shattered on the floor,
Her lance broken in half.
They pelted her with sticks and stones,
And laughed when her bones broke.
And yet she smiled still at us,
Her sky eyes just as bright.
“How can you smile?” I asked her then,
“With all the things we’ve done!”
“I’m still alive,” she said to me.
“I don’t regret a thing.
I took my destiny from Fate,
And made it all my own.
“It makes me different from the rest,
It condemns my soul to Hell.
But I’d rather hold my life in hand,
Then follow mindless Fate.”
She smiled then died before my eyes,
But her words stayed around.
They put her in an unmarked grave,
And forgot it to this day.
But she never needed a tombstone,
She never walked with us.
I see now that she flew with angels,
The Dragoon of the Skies.

The Struggle
Good and Evil, Darkness and Light,
Why do we contrast, why do we fight?
Are we not equals? Why aren’t we friends?
Why is it that it’s my life you wish to end?
It is not my fault I hold what I hold,
And it is not my fault, this grudge of old.
I will not beg you to believe these “lies,”
I just ask that we not fight for the sake of lives.
Still you insist… well if I must,
I see that I can never win your trust.
Arrow of darkness fly straight and true,
So no lives will be lost, and we can start anew.
You fall, you die, and in a blast of rage,
History has turned yet another page.
The light was eventually bound to be gone,
With all that is I and the darkness alone.
