The Same Stars (Poem)

The stars label me a fool,
The same stars that I would pray to at night,
For you,
For your safety,
For your well-being,
The same stars at which I marvelled,
Many times,
When my heart was filled with happiness,
When you'd say you loved me,
The same stars I would try to count,
When I missed you,
When you were busy,
The stars that, unlike you,
Were always there,
And they are the same stars,
That I cry to now,
While my heart is broken,
While the tears slide down my face.
