Sae's short stories
I had some old drabbled here that I decided I was no longer fond of and have deleted them.
I don't know if this thread is in the right place any more. I've decided that in order to hone my ability as a writer, I will write 50 short stories. Each story will relate to a word. I will make a list of these words to use. 1. success 2. smart 3. cards 4. exemplary 5. slack 6. bible 7. laundromat 8. foundation 9. curve 10. clown 11. back talk 12. cocoon 13. sheperd 14. edible 15. discovery 16. 17. 18 19. 20. 21. 22. 23. 24. 25. |
It all began ended at the laundromat. The little town was filled with people who could could afford next to nothing, but would spare everything for their passing neighbor. You could lend something to someone and know that they'd pay you back when you needed it. It seemed everyone could spare a coin for the local laundromat. The owner was known to put in her own change when an embaressed customer that came unable to pay. And the laundromat owner would never go hungry. Everyone would see to that. In this little town everyone knew everyone else, and the only place to gather, was the little laundromat. |
