"Let them Eat Cake!" - A Themed Drabble
~> introduction
Alright, so after thoroughly reading through the rules of these so-called drabbles, I've challenged myself to complete a list of the items I'll need to include, and then write about them! This list will hopefully be completed by this upcoming Sunday, although I cannot fully guarantee anything. So let's continue! ~> the so-called theme My chosen theme includes such things as indulgence, greed, selfishness, hypocrisy, monarchies and their dysfunction, theft, deceit, vanity, forbidden romance, and arranged marriages. In short, it's merely a bunch of themes I somehow manage to find a connection to, mentally. The ailments of the human mind, I'd call them. My inspiration? Well, originally it'd root back to one Marie Antoinette, although just a few minutes ago, a person on the t.v. behind me said, "Let them eat cake!" which rekindled my thoughts. I've adored Marie Antoinette from the moment I watched that rather boring documentary on her. Feel free to post at any interval; feel free to use my drabble, to comment on my creations, to just relax here and chat a bit, or anything you really just feel like doing. ^^ ~> f.y.i. The time between each drabble completion with surely be quite a bit. What with school and all, I'll try my best, but I'm making no guarantees. The drabble will most likely be typed before hand in Microsoft Word, albeit how much I hate it I cannot begin to describe. I'll also be starting this sometime tomorrow on October 25, 2007, although it will more than likely be within Word, and not here where you'll be able to see it in all of its glorious work-in-progress stage. |
