I fell in love with a character named Edmond from How I Live Now.. It's such a good book. I fell in love with him because the way the author describes him... He's just the sweetest guy, he doesn't talk much, but he doesn't have to... he understands you without you ever saying anything... i dunno he's just really awesome..


i fell in love with another character a long time ago.. His name was DAvid from Kotuku.. I don't really remember what about him I loved so much. I think I loved him because he really cared everyone.. he was always around to help and stuff.. he's the kinda guy that you can rely on you know?

I even made up a redhead treehouse club. Ichigo tries to join, but Renji laughs and says "no, you're orange." Then they argue about ichigo being the wrong name for him because strawberries are red and he's clearly 黄丹 (ouni)...which we think it literally means "yellow red lead." Renji's arguement then goes to Ichigo being dense as lead...gosh we kept it going for about 10 minutes of ranting ^_^ it was fun times.

Destruction: Glad to amuse. I've always thought of Reno as the mommy. I don't know if you've ever read Saiyuki, but I have a hard time seeing Gojyo ukeing for almost anyone. (maybe Hakkai, if Hakkai was all demon on him) But then I'm a fan of Rufus/Reno, Tseng/Reno, and Zack/Reno so *shrug*

Titenya: I have a friend that's in love with Sam as well. Though we like to joke that's she's Sam and her bf is Rosie with the ribbons in his hair... Personally I like Legolas (in the book...eh he's ok in the movie) and Eomer (mmm rohan...)

1. Let me be the first to concur...Leggyman FTW! (has loved Legolas since the 5th grade >.>)
2. the blondes are together with pink because there aren't that many pink haired guys and because they tend to act like the stereotypical blonde (just more sadistic)
3. I've read and watched some of Saiyuki (not Reload though). I suppose I thinking along the lines of Gojyo begrudgingly going seke just because Reno's a bit more charming. It'd be like the nice seme calming the demanding uke. Kind of like:

Reno: "So I heard you've ever been bottom?"
Gojyo: "Of course. And I never will be. So just give up now," eying Reno suspiciously.
Reno: With a mischievous smile he taps his bat against his thigh. "I'm just saying...You never know unless you try. Might like it."
Gojyo: blushing. "You never shut up do you?"

Tatsuki was all ways my fav from fushigi yuugi. But I did fall in love with Yusuke form Yu Yu hakusho. Not Hiei, not Kurama, Yusuke. I usually don't do that if there's already a romantic interest but i don't care! He's personality makes me go "WHOOOOOOO" *giggle*

yeah! Its a combination of looks too but the personality is the deciding factor. I don't think i've ever heard of any one really falling for him. I used to like Hiei but everyone liked him. I prefer the jokers that are also bad ass.

I actually kinda fell for Dracula in Elizabeth Kostova's "The Historian". You barely even meet him in the book and he's so totally evil and stuff, but apparently that didn't deter me.

Lust = most definitely. but after awhile, as you learn more about the character, you truly begin to feel some sort of connection to them, as if they are right there beside you. Sometimes...I know this sounds weird but, I argue with the characters I make up. Or when I'm working out, I hear one of them motivating me...:oops: (<-- : oops : = blush )

A really good writer can form a character as if they're a real person and portray them vividly. Soon, the characters write the story for you, and you become only a medium. Yuu Watase has alluded to this truth when commenting on Nuriko in Fushigi Yuugi. You give them a name and some basis of a personality or past, then it's up to them after that. So,yeah...it's very possible for that "lust at first sight" to develop into some strange form of love. Just imagine if they were real. They are based off of real emotions, real struggles. So what if they are ink and paper? And soon one finds themselves falling for particular character types, like the strong silent type, or the wild trickster, or the heroic nice guy, or the hopeless romantic...*sigh* Books and anime have raised my standards for real men too high. I wonder if that is why most people don't have lasting relationships now-a-days. They probably would if they were more like the characters out of imagination. :sweat:

My first book love was Drizzt Do'Urden from, well a number of books by Salvador. He's a dark elf and I don't like him much any more. xD

My current book love is Gerald Tarrent from The Cold Fire Trilogy by C.S. Friedman. You should all read it. They are the best books ever written in my opinion. Who can't love an evil, witty, sorcerer? And there's so much character depth within the books you can't help but fall in love with all the characters in some form or fashion.

EDIT: but these don't include my manga crushes. That list is very long. xD
