I fell in love with Elladan and Elrohir. From Lord of the rings, Cause they are twins, Elves, and they are not talked about much in the books or movies hardly. I just love them. =3 I also like Glorfindel.

Well, I can't say that I've 'fallen in love' with a fictional character, but my admiration for certain characters has certainly been strong enough. I think the very first character I obsessed over was either Elfangor or Vissor Three from the Animorphs series. My very first favorite book was the Andalite Chronicles when I was seven years old. And these days I have a fondness for Raistlin, from Dragonlance. The book series I'm currently reading, The Bartimaeus Trilogy- I really like Bartimaeus. He's fun, and witty, and it's always a pleasure to read things from his perspective, especially with all the little footnotes.

I thought about this for a bit and I suppose of all the characters I have admired
(and thought I was in love with) the one that stands out the most is Lazarus Long from Robert Heinlein's books. He is the main character in several stories. Virtually immortal. He first shows up in Methusalah's children, then in Time Enough for Love and then a half dozen others. :) There's even a book of Lazarus Long's quotations that was published, some are quite funny, others very serious but make a lot of sense. sort of like Murphy's Law. |
I think I've fallen in love with too many characters. Does this mean I fall in love easily? Hm...
Off the top of my head, I'd say Mr. Darcy (of course!), Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Bran ap Brychan (The King Raven trilogy is what I think he's from), Robin Hood, Dustfinger, Harry Dresden (The Dresden Files, lmao. I wasn't sure whether to put him or not...), and...I have no idea. There's just way too many! |
I'm in love with Edward, or Teddy, from Anita Blake. lol umm...lesseee....and Richard Zeeman, again from Anita....ummmmm....Oh...and Frost from Meredith Gentry and also...well...more'n I can think of at the moment...wheeee...lol

Thank you. Glorfindel love! <3 |
character
me not from books though... but from manga <3 always, always, always^^ |
When I was twelve or so, it was Serra from the Dragon Riders of Pern series. She was strong and quick witted and never failed to speak her mind. She was just the coolest girl ever, real or not, I didn't care.
More recently it's been Lestat from Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. I always though he was so suave in the Interview With the Vampire movie, but when I read The Vampire Lestat I just felt such an emotional connection, you know? That's what it's all about isn't it? Our literature love affairs? There's no way to know a real person so wholly as a character. It's just wishful thinking, but it's a pretty little dream, isn't it? Oh, and how could I forget Naoe Nobutsuna from Mirage of Blaze? Loved him in the novels, he's so devoted and loyal and his lover just hurts him all the time. Makes you want to hug him. Oddly enough, I didn't like him in the anime, just the novels. |
Lestat, from Ann Rice.
Alexander Sterling, from Vampire Kisses. Mr. Darcy, Puck, from A Mid-summer Night's Dream(Teehee) The Phantom Of the Opera! Mein Gott, he's amazing! *.* V, from the V for Vendetta comics. *swoons* The Count of Monte Cristo, Fred and George Wesley... Teehee, yep. |
I fell in love with Muhyo from Muhyo & Roji's Bureau of Supernatural Investigation.
|
I hate how i love edward and jacob. From Twilight. (I despise those that are all. 'OMFG GAWD EEEE! EDWAAAARD. (or jacob). I WANT YOUR BABIES!!!" And the whole team edward and team jacob thing. BUT, my love is to alexander and a few other characters from Vampire Kisses. n_n ah, so romantic and awesome. They are so... perfect! ._. alas. n_n my heart belong to my boy and not a fictional character. |
Wow, I actually have two at the moment. :)
I absolutely love Alder the Bedoowan knight from Pendragon by D.J. MacHale. He's absolutely adorable~! <3 He's strong, smart, and clumsy! What else could you ever ask for? Lol. I always imagine him with a Russian accent, too. It helps in his favor a lot. :0 The second is Peeta Mellark from The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. He's also incredibly adorable. His love and devotion to Katniss is amazing, and he even risks his life for her time and time again... And she returns his love... In an act to survive! ToT He's absolutely heart broken when he finds out later, and it broke mine too! There's a terrible love triangle between him, Katniss, and Gale, and she's torn between the two... Pick Peeta! Men that ice cakes and are named after bread are teh awesome! <33 |
When I was younger I had a massive crush on Artemis Fowl from the "Artemis Fowl" series. Now I love most of the vampires from Ane Rice's Vampire Chronicles. I also love Mr. Rochester from Jane Eyre and the Doctor from Doctor Who (there are books thank you very much). Currently I Adore Richard Mayhew from Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere.

Oh, dozens! But so far, on the top of my list, is Sam Donovan from Linda Howard's book, Mr. Perfect. He is realistic and by far the closest male lead I would actually fall in love with if he were real.
But I crush on most of the guys in the Dark-Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon, and Conrad in the Immortals After Dark series (Kresley Cole). I'm sure there are a few more, but Sam takes the cake. |

But maybe that's cause he reminded me of someone I like who is NOT in a book. XD |

Howl from Howl's Moving Castle.
Even though he's a totally self-absorbed pompous jerk, I just can't help myself. |

But it was weird, cause when I first read it, it reminded me so much of this guy I knew from school! |
Yeah, I have... Lestat from the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice... I really fell for him ^^ |
The way I fall in love with characters is kinda like the guys I fall in love with in real life My first love was Scott Collins form the book "Boy Next Door" By R.L. Stine My next love was Joss from "The Drifter" by Richie Tankersley Cusick Now I'm stuck in a love triangle with Rincewind from "The color of magic"/"The Light Fantastic" by Terry Pratchett and Darcy from "Pride and Prejudice" ... Love is complicated XD Oh... and would Algernon from the play "The Importance of Being Ernest" count? If he does then I guess it's a love rectangle :3 |
Yeah, Mister Darcy!!! I almost forgott about him! He is sooo nice!!! Have you seen the old film fromn 1995? I personally think Colin Firth is perfect for this role!!! |
Actually I love the guy who played him in "Lost in Austen", the actors name was Elliot Cowan. My GAWD he was cute (he played Darcy really well, too) @[email protected];; |
Oh... Probably Jayfeather from Warriors: The Power of Three. Too bad Jayfeather is a medicine cat and therefore can't have a mate... *Sigh*
Oh, and, before him, I liked Hawkfrost from Warriors: The New Prophecy. Gotta love the bad guys. <3 |
Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice
General Nakhtmin from Nefertiti Faolin from The Bridei Chronicles Garrett from Twilight (Trust me, he's in there if you haven't heard of him) and Achmed from The Symphony of Ages (the poor guy got ditched for a dragon, tsk) |
I never saw Elliot Cowan... But I look for pictures and decided I like Colin Firth better ^^
But everyone have got a different taste ^^ |
