My neck is very very sore. I miss my laptop very much so. Bed is a much better place to type....

I am anxiously waiting the N. American publication of Remarkable Creatures by Tracy Chevalier. She is one of my favourite authors. I am an almost exclusive and rather picky reader of historical fiction.

I hate waiting for books to come into publication, especially when other countries get them first and you have to wait, and wait, until it comes out. It is a hateful thing.

I am reading through The Lady and the Unicorn again, but it's kind of boring me. I am tired of reading books I know by heart, and I'm in a terrible bad mood lately, so reading about lovers and such kind of annoys me.

I don't know who else would be a good author of historical fiction. I have a small but well fitted-out library of classics and lesser known historical fiction books. I wonder if anyone else likes this genre as much as I do. I love fiction overlayed on fact. It is fascinating.

I am also typing this sideways because of my neck. If you can type fast, it looks quite amusing to do so.

So in conclusion, does anyone else have a hard time entertaining themselves while they wait for new books to come out?

Yes. Well to the having a hard time waiting for a book to come out. I wonder how a new author must feel when thiser first book is coming out and it isnt in book form yet. With the cover and all.Thats how I just chill myself out, think of how the author feels.Probably about the same as we do.Cept more nervous because they dont know if thier fans will like it huh?
