Has anyone read it yet? It's by Chris Wooding. It's part novel and part comic. It's really awesome. I just finnished reading it and I can't wait for Havoc the second book to come out. I was wondering if anyone else has read it because I would love to talk to someone about it.
If You haven't read it you should. It's a great story about a boy named Seth and his friend Kady. They hear a rumor about this comic book... They say that if you read it and then say a chant that Tall Jake will take you away. They are skeptical of course but when their friend Luke disappears they go searching for answers and end up in Malice, which is a whole other world. AND IT'S TOTALLY CRAZY AND I WANNA TALK ABOUT IT!

Oh I looked it up today and Havoc doens't come out until sometime in 2010 which makes me sad cause I really can't wait to read it. I guess I will have to settle for scouring the internets for exerpts from it or something like that.

By half comic half novel what do you mean by that?
It sounds really cool though, I've never read it before I think I'll give it a try.

Well it's like a regular book but then some of the pages turn into like comic book pages so the story has little speech bubbles and stuff like that, so you can see part of the story and then read other parts. Most of it is book of course, but there are a lot of small scenes that are in comic, The comic part isn't very detailed but it is really cool to look at and it helps give the characters faces ^ ^

I haven't read it yet, but I have it on hold at the library. I love Chris Wooding's book and when so many people were telling me about Malice, I had to check it out. I'm excited for when it comes.

Yeah it's a great read, it's really fast paced and stuff like that. I haven't read any of his other books yet but I am definitely going to look into them ^ ^ I can't wait until Havoc comes out >< I'm so excited
