My favorite is The Forbidden Game series. It has not been reprinted so lots of folks haven't heard of 'em.

Cool. Acctually, I was going to read the Forbidden Game series next. I didn't like the Vampire Diaries much either. I really don't like the new television series. There are way too many differences for me to watch it. My favorite is the Night World series. I also enjoyed the Secret Circle.

Ya the television series is not good at all. I bought the first part of the Night World series but have not yet read it. I read quickly so I wanted to wait till I got all of the books before I started reading.

When you're writing out an extensive list like that, just remember to use quotes. It would be a little unfair for you to earn gold from titles that someone else created. :yes:

I have read all of the vampire diaries. They were ok but they didnt have enough depth to them. The characters didn't have enough emotion behind them. But it was still a good book. I also liked the tv show that is out now. I have read 2 of the nightworld stories. They were good as well.:)

I read all her books years ago. I'm glad she's started writing again. I think Forbidden Games is my favorite series of hers so far.

I've finally got the Night of the Solstice book! Now I can start the series. Yay! So far, my fave character in it is Janie.

I didn't like the Vampire Diaries, but I love the Night World series. The witches are my favorite characters.

I got all the Night World books, except for the last one.
I think the Strange Fate is finally being published... but now it feels like I have to go back through the whole series just so I can familiarize myself with everything.

I am proud to say I have read all of LJ Smith.My favorite book would have to be Dark Visions or The Vampire Diaries. LJ Smith is one of the best writers I have dicovered.

I tried to find Strange Fate tonight. It was supposed to be out in stores March 25th, but I guess Wal-Mart is a little slow this time.

I've only read the Night World series so far. I don't plan on reading Vampire Diaries, though my mom and sister are reading it at the moment. I just don't think that I would like it.

I do, however, plan on reading the rest of L.J. Smith's work. I really like her books. :]

Yeah, she's an awesome writer. I am hoping that one day, I will be as good as her.
You should read the Vampire Diaries. I had almost given up on them in the first book, but if you stick to it through to the end, you'll get hooked. I know I did. :)
