Okay, I searched for a thread about these books and found nothing, which doesn't surprise me because (amazingly), they aren't actually that popular that I've seen.

These books are my Kelley Armstrong. They include: "The Summoning", "The Awakening", and "The Reckoning" which is coming out next month. I can't wait.

It's a story about a girl that gets sent to a school for disturbed kids once she starts seeing ghosts. It's actually full of twists and turns and lots of surprises. From page one, I couldn't put the book down and the first book creeped me out so much, I kept jumping whenever the phone rang.

I LOVE THESE BOOKS! I'm re-reading The Summoning. It's so good! :D But really, I think the beginning with the period and all that, it doesn't really lead up to the whole story D:< I love when in the beginning of books it leads up to the plot. And, i know right? I screamed when my dad came home XD And once I was like super tired at reading it, and my cat jumped onto me O__O I jumped up at my cat flew off me xD Then I kept reading.. o.o

Is The Awakening any good? I can't find it in my local bookstore :/

Yes! I loved it. You should definitely buy it. It's not as scary (well, parts of it are still scary though), but it's definitely very exciting. I read it in a day. Both the books I read in a day. I couldn't put them down. I can't wait until the last book comes out.

I'm so happy someone else has heard of this book. This thread was up for awhile and I was really depressed because no one was responding to it and this is a great trilogy.

I just read the first two!!! Omg! These books are amazing, they gave me the sense of actually being the main character.. I looked at my arm and expected to see bruises where Derek grabs her... creepy stuff

I know! They really draw you on.

You should definitely finish the last book in the trilogy. I read it the day it came out, lol. My Dad bought it for me and gave it to me in the afternoon and I winded up not being able to sleep all night because all I could do was read. I turned off my light and got a flashlight, but I just couldn't go to sleep until the next day. It was excellent. I wish I could re-read all of them for the first time again!

I don't know if they're out here yet... I should look into a copy though.

The last book is out if you live in the U.S. I can't guarantee it is if you live anywhere else though.

New Zealand, so probably not much luck on that front

My friend is letting me and my mother borrow the Reckoning and my mom got to it first cause I wanted to read Need first. And my mom started it in the morning and finished it before she went to bed! I told her she had to find another book to read cause I wasn't giving up the other I had.... -_-
