I love this series! I'm surprised it's not more popular. I just picked up the third book today!! *spaz attack* It's not technically released until tomorrow but I work at a book store and we got it in early XD Apparently it's gonna be like seven books long or something like that. Book three is called Lies and book four is tentatively titled Plague. On to the questions.

I came across this book in my book store, thought it looked interesting, read the back and bought it on the spot ^^

I think it was just the general idea that drew me in. Everything is vampires this, vampires that nowadays that I liked the thought of something different. Plus it sounded dark, and I like dark.

Well Caine is pretty badass, but I think I might be leaning more towards Sam... for now anyways.

Perdido Beach, though I would probably slap the Human Crew silly if I had to stay there. Beats Coates though.

OMG!! I absolutely love this series. I only just recently read the 2nd book. You know something, I really hope they make a third one. The way the 2nd one ended was just...meh!

I came across the first one at my high school library. The second one I didn't even know about until I visited the local library.

I was drawn to it because it's kinda fantasy...sort of and I like Astrid. I sorta like
Cain cause he's the bad guy. I do not like Drake at all...he is TOO evil for my liking.

Definitely Sam all the way.

Perdido Beach...though, if it weren't for Cain and Drake, Coates Academy would be kinda a cool place to go.

There is a third book. It's actually out already. It's called Lies. It's going to be a six book series. Book four will be Plague, book five will be Darkness and book six will be Light. Gotta admit, extremely excited XD

I just recently got into the series, I have to admit its pretty unique in its own way. Although I'd first checked it out for my sister, who thought it would be a great read (Turns out she was right!!) I had thought it was a book about survival. The type where it would be them against the elements, no supernatural aspect involved. Nonetheless I really like this series, and cant wait to read the rest of it!! I guess what drew me to it, was the fact that plot sounded and was appealing to me and it was something new I'd never read about. Hmm as for the favorite character its hard to pick between the guys, because none of them really stood out I have a love hate relationship with both Caine and Drake. I like them but then they do something,that peeves me and I cant stand them for a while. For the girls I'd say I like Lana she's a bit more spunky than Astrid, and seems more tough than the main heroine.
