I've never read the Percy Jackson series so I'd have to go with Harry Potter, but like I said, never read the other so I can't make a qualified judgment. And I'd rather not be either, I like myself enough.

I like Harry Potter the best. Harry Potter has more detail and adventure-ish stuff. You can see the plot instead of it just being there. I'd be a person from harry potter not him him-self tho

That's a difficult question; I really enjoyed both.
If I had to choose, probably Harry Potter. I like J.K. Rowling's writing style somewhat better, and her plots are more complex.

Percy Jackson. I prefer Greek mythology over wizards and witches.
I would not want to be Percy or Harry. However, I wouldn't mind being someone in the Percy Jackson series.

I like Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone better. It has more adventure && ish more of a page turner. I got bored at parts of Percy Jackson, but Harry Potter kept muh attention for the most part.
I would rather be Harry Potter. His life at Hogwarts seems pretty exciting && I'd love to be able to do magic and the like. :D

I haven't gotten around to reading percy jackson, but all i've heard is good things about it. So I'm still going to have to go with Harry Potter, except that I liked the second book and on much better.
I would rather be Percy. Son of a god with awesome water powers. oh heck yes that'd be amazing! XD

Haven't read either one, but I did read the first HP, and hated it. I really hate Harry Potter... so I'm going with Anne Rice ^.^

Harry Potter: yes I like the series, because its one of the first books in my personal library and you have to like somethings better than others (I love all my books the same they each hold their own sentimental value) Also I like the plot and its a book you sometimes can't put down..
Percy Jackson: What I've seen from the movie yes. because I like the way that greek mythology is tied in but its modernized so that people of this day and age understand what is going on.

I've loved Harry Potter for about ten years, and no matter how old I get or how many times I read it, I marvel at how tightly woven the plot is, how real the characters are, the excellent writing style, and so many other factors that make it, to me, an absolutely great book.
I got to about page ten of The Lightening Thief before I could not read anymore. In my opinion, the writing was just bad, the first paragraphs were so awful I couldn't believe it (books that start out addressing the reader, especially with warnings, drive me mad!), and I just found Percy to be an extremely annoying, whiny sort of child. Sure, you can establish a character as unlikable to start with, but at least make me care about what they're going to do next. Personally, I didn't care about whatever big thing was going to happen to Percy. At all.
Anyway, I'd rather be a character in the Harry Potter series. How wonderful would it be to attend Hogwarts!?

As much as I love Harry Potter, I'd definitely have to go with Percy Jackson.
