I don't, I usually read one book at a time no matter what mood I'm in. But for those who read more than one book at a time, do you choose which one to keep reading depending on your mood, and why would you choose a certain book from your mood?

Yes I do. I read romantic books when I am feeling cranky, and I read action books when I feel happy. Is it weird?

Hm... I dunno if I do that exactly, but I do chop and change the books that I read... I began to read the Sherlock Holmes series, then I got some out of the library... Also couldn't finish reading the eragon series.... I got bored with it for some reason... >.<
Not sure if its the mood I'm in though.... Just compulsions to read certain books at times I guess.

If I'm not in the mood to read a certain book I wont. Generally if I feel mad I play video games, blowing something up is quite relaxing..

Normally, I only read if I'm bored. A lot of times, even if I like the book, I'll just stop reading it. I don't know why. I guess I'm just mentally exhausted or something. What really changes during my emotions is what I sing. If I'm angry, I'll sing (and play on the piano) Point of No Return from Phantom of the Opera. If I'm not angry, I'll sing pretty much anything else.
I guess if I'm bored and don't have a new book to read, I normally go back and reread Regency Masquerade. When I buy books, if I buy more than one, I guess choosing which one to start first depends on my mood. If I'm angry, I'll normally go with the one that has the most killing.

It just depends really like if I'm in a gloomy mood, I'd rather not read a romance. I'd rather a suspense, mystery novel around that time, or something historical. Though if its a fairly good day I prefer anything really. So not really sure I guess at times I pick books depending on my mood, just not all the time.

I typically read fantasy books. I don't read books to match my mood I just pick on that I haven't read yet from my bookshelf and read that.
When it comes to manga however I will usually just pick up whatever I feel like reading. Those are more my mood books I guess, since they're shorter.

Yes, I read horror books when I am upset and adventure books when I am bored for example.

Just depends. If Ima bored, then I want something that'll keep meh entertained, even if Ima already reading another book. Most of the time I just read the book I planned on reading though, && finish that one before starting another.

Im not sure there are specific books that I read given my mood, but there are books that make me feel different and so I may be more prone to read them. Harry Potter, for example, is the book of my childhood. It reminds me of sitting down with my cousin and reading for hours. Sometimes when IM scared of the future (a constant problem of mine) I just sit back and read that.
