A Thousand Splendid Suns (ATSS) is the second bestselling novel by the astonishing author, Khaled Hosseini. His first and well known novel, The Kite Runner, is another great story. I thought that ATSS was a heart-wrenching story of love and hate, good and evil, and down to earth truth. You really invested your mind and heart into the characters; you cried with them, you laughed with them, you fought with them. Did anybody else love this story as much as I did?

I read this book for an AP English assignment and I LOVE IT. I highly recommend it. I bought both The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns - can't wait for Hosseini to write another novel :)

Me too! I was so surprised, I normally HATE the books we're required to read for school, but this one was excellent!
