Are they worth reading? I just started book one, and It has my interest, but I am unsure if it gets better than mainly Conker? I am almost to part 2 of the first book.
The first book is fairly slow and it doesn't go much beyond where you're at already. The rest of the first book is more character building and a couple of minor revelations that become more important in later books. I consider book one more of a prequel to the rest of the series than one of the actual books.
Starting in book two things really start to pick up. You start getting into actual plot lines with subplots and the reading level jumps a couple notches and it becomes a lot more interesting (in my opinion anyways). It's definitely a good read.
