twilight. Need I say any more?

I personally can't stand books where middle aged women attempt to write teenaged boys. It just never seems to work. :/
The title of the most recent one I tried to read is currently slipping my mind, but it was kind of rough.

Anything in particular you can't stand about it though? Everyone always comes up with such creative reasons, I have my own, but I like seeing what others think too.

Teenage angst books -.-"
I avoid the "young adult" reading section whenever I can, despite being a teenager. Angst often drives me INSANE. But there are exceptions, a few GOOD angsty books, in a sea of awful ones XDD

Number one most hated book in my entire life...Shiver....Goodness I absolutely despise that book I tried reading it twice! and the second time I quit even sooner than the first time. I just can't STAND the characters. Oh and Speak...way too melodramatic that girl must have had something wrong with her before...sigh...and on the Twilight issue I am NOT going to return to re-read those books. I enjoyed all the books, but I am absolutely positive that if I try to go and read them again I will get frustrated and irritated at the complete and utter nonsense.-_-

Mhh, I can read angst books if they're based on real life. But I hate Mary Sue/Gary Stu books, sooo... That's about it! :D I think it's pointless to name Twilight as the book I hate most at the moment, because it should pop into your mind right when you read the word "Mary Sue" (Mhh, that is 2 words actually...)
And since CandyLand might be interested, I hate Twilight because Bella is such an - when she's so mean to her father. Plus other - in her, you should check Nostalgia Critic's "Top 11 Dumbasses in Distress". It's based on the movies, tho, but I find it including the book's problems too.

I really don't literally hate any books but I really dislike authors who try and rewrite a past novel because in most cases they end up completely ruining the true meaning behind the story and leave out very important details.
