Vampire Kisses, anyone?
I love Vampire Kisses! ^.^ Mainly 'cause I'm a "goth" chick, I guess... but it's a great book for the romantics! Sure, it's got a LOT of cheesy moments, but all novels do! Anybody else love Vampire Kisses? :3 If so, what's your favorite books so far? Favorite character? Do you love or hate Trevor? Or maybe you love to hate him, like me? x)

I love Vampire Kisses. I didn't think I'd like it because of the teen-vampire-love-thing, like a Twilight cash-in. But it was good.
Oh I hate Trevor with a Passion!! *giggles* SPOILERMy favorite character would be either Raven or Sebastian. Sebastian was just too hot. Last year for my birthday my best friend got me the first 5 books in one. I'm still haven't read books 6 or 7 |

I love to hate Trevor, he's kinda hot for a prep. Hahaha. I know, I'm a traitor. Sebastian WAS too hot! So was Jagger though. <3
Hmm, NicoleJin, I would refer you to Wikipedia, but there are spoilers! >.< I think it'd be best for you to pick up the first VK from your local library, that way you get to experience it for yourself, rather than reading my gushy stories about it and spoiling it! Haha. Let me put it this way, if you are or ever have been an outcast or a goth chick, you will understand the main character and be able to relate. It doesn't have the sexiness of other novels, but that's simply because Ellen Schreiber didn't want to praise teen sex, and she wanted this novel to be suitable for most age groups. ^.^ I'm so proud of her. I think you'd be better off just reading it for yourself. =) Good vampires, bad vampires and some that are in between. And if you don't like it, feel free to yell at me about it. ^.^ Haha. |

Cute little story. I liked it. @Codette I was worried about the Twi-thing too Only for a minute though because my stepbrother lent me his copy. He's like "Sis, it's not f**king Twilight, I swear." and I know I can trust him on stuff like that. |
I've only read up to the fifth one, but I absolutely adore them Anne Schreiber is by far an excellent writer...I wish I could afford the new ones, I've go one through five though. Trevor is a total dueche bag. Everytime I read them, I think of my "Sissy"--she's 'Goth'.

I used to love to read Vampire Kisses. I even went as far as reading the manga that came out for it, but then I realize how over the top cheesy it was and I had to stop. I think It was because everyone was in that Vampire craze, that lead me to read Vampire Kisses. The first book was good, but then after that I kinda just kept losing interest.
