I love the Alan Moore comics, especially V for Vendetta and Watchmen.
V for Vendetta just captivated me. The great story and the meaning behind it made this one of my favorite works. I can see a world like that coming to fruition in America soon.

And as for Watchmen, reading it always makes me think, "What if?" Not just having Dr. Manhattan around, but vigilantes like them having existed during the Cold War could have changed so much for the worse, or even better.
