I'm not sure. I haven't read it myself, but I've heard good things.

My older sister has almost all of the series except the last two. She told me it's really good and I should read it, she'll let me borrow it. I'm not totally into wanting to read it but maybe I will take it into consideration. But I want to actually finish my other books before I get into something else. ^^; I have quite a list of books I am wanting to read before getting into a series...

I've read up to the newest book, the series started out great but now it just feels like the author's dragging things out. Seriously, I think this could have been finished in 4-5 books.

I think its worth a read. Personally i have found them really interesting and i like how they have mixed wicca into the series.

GOOD READ! :D

Oh, no wonder that rung a bell. "Friend" of mine read it, loved it. Definitely not my cup o' tea!
I'm picky about vampire stories, and prefer wicca in a more fantasy like setting.. x)
I think I read the first book, Marked? Not sure, but I found an excerpt online, and this definitely
doesn't seem at all appealing, though I may try to find some bits of chapter 5 since you say it's
a drag the first few chapters. ;x I think my bestie has a copy of it. o:

I agree with Nike. It is a great series but it is for sure drawn out for no reason.

The House of Night books are fun, but keep in mind that they are written for teens. There is a certain gentleness factor that doesn't really go away until much further in the series.

I have read the entire series so far and I love it but again, I agree that it is being dragged out far too long. Still a good read, I would recommend it.

I've read the first 6 books, and I have to say that they are very poorly written. I felt like i was talking to a 10 year old, and she's just not the kind of character i liked. She moved without thinking, she's got all these wonderful things about her, and its like a mix of twilight and harry potter. Twilight because of the imprinting, vampires, and the girl is wanted by many boys; and Harry potter because of the school setting, she's 'the chosen one', and she's super powerful apparently.

Not my favorite thing to read, I only read so far so I could see where the hell she dragged Heath after all that time, i felt so bad for him.

It's really good and interesting, but there are some really dragged out parts. The series is very long, and just when I thought I was finished, another one comes out. I think we'll all be reading this series for a while...

Oh, and there will be times when you just want to throw the book out the window in frustration at the main character. :stare:
