If any of you have played, heard of or seen videos of the RPG game The Witcher, this is the book it was based off of. It follows the protagonist of the games, Geralt of Rivia as he roams the country helping people with the monsters that plague them and their towns. The first book is an anthology without any real story progression aside from little pieces between stories that are connected. This series of short stories then leads to the second book in which Geralt takes a young apprentice, a princess named Ciri who is the chosen one to end the warring between the humans and the non-humans.
