So, I'm in love with Scott Westerfeld's writing! His Uglies series was wonderful, all fighting and action and plot plot plot, a tiny bit of romance but not really... it was the best book series besides harry potter :D

So Yesterday was also a good read, insightful more like though.

And the Peeps series. Different outlook on vampires, really original, bad sequel though. I really liked the original character. Same thing with uglies, the first 3 books were good, but then he changed the character.

Does anyone else have an lit. erection for scott westerfeld? :D

chronic_heartbreak14: Gorgeous series ♥ I've read it at least three times now.
I haven't read anything else by him, but the Uglies series is hands down amazing!!

yes, yes it is :D He also has written the Midnighters series, which was pretty good too.

Uglies was the best futuristic fiction i've ever read! it was so realistic and whatnot, and I just loved Tally.

This series was really interesting and I enjoyed it a lot! I read a little of the Midnighters series, but I will admit that I didn't get too far. Makes me want to pick it up. :)

The Midnighters was a really far fetched one, i'm not usually into the sci fi... but he just hits spots with me :D i really hated Aya Fuze in Extras though, just because i missed Tally :(

its pretty nifty. i recommend it for school reading, or if you're not in school or anything then light reading at home or work is good too. its a go-anywhere series as far as i can tell :D

He also is writing a series that starts with Leviathan, which is a steampunk fiction set in world war I (basically). I have found this book amazing, and my wife and I did enjoy the Uglies series as well. If you have any interest whatsoever in steampunk, I encourage you immensely to explore the world he created in Leviathan. The second book in the series ahas come out as well, and it is called Behemoth.

you know i saw Leviathan in the library, but i didn't know he wrote it! i'll have to check that out.

i read Graceling (by Kristin Cashore) and then somebody told me that Leviathan was the sequel to that, but they are written by two completely different people so i think i heard wrong or something. (hint hint, also a really good read-Graceling)
