A little while back I sat down and read The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. It.....took me a while to get into it, even though it has this really interesting plot and way of telling the story. I was wondering if anyone has had a chance to read it? If so, what did you think of it? How was the writing style for you? :)

I haven't... but I'm interested. Tell me more, what are they like?

It starts with the circus appearing without warning. It is Le Cirque des Reves, The Circus of Dreams; the testing grounds for a contest of skill. The view point of the story bounces between a variety of characters and, sometimes, it gives you an outside perspective walking through the circus. To get anymore into detail might ruin the story ;).

I've been wanting to read it - I'm waiting for my library to get an ebook copy of it so I can borrow and read it on my phone (I have little time to sit down with a paper book but I can read in short snippets on my phone pretty easily)

I'm probably 80% through but I can't really bring myself to read the rest.
I've just sort of lost interest...
It was very captivating to start with but I feel it has lost its luster.

I picked it up because of a recommendation andddd the fact that it will be made into a movie in the near future. :]

"I have been meaning to sit down and read the online chapter they have out.", Hatter spoke, "I love all things circus and romance, so when a friend told me about a new book of such I grew an interest.".

"I have yet to read it, however, for I am afraid if they ruined the true image of the circus; I might just go mad. (No pun intended.).", he chuckled at the last bit, "Has anyone fully read it yet? I would love to hear some reviews on it.".
