Who's read Pendragon by D.J. Machale?
I find it an AMAZING series! I read the first nine books in no time, and was counting down the days until the tenth book came out. I love this series, and I'm so glad my friend introduced me to it.
There's action, barely any romance. Traveling to different "worlds" and fighting to save the entire world. There's the main goal of defeating the evil vilian, and there's plenty other small goals, well, not goals exactly. Difficulties they run into.
Machale wrote this book so that you can pick up on whichever book, and you don't miss all that much. Though of course I reccomend reading them all, you get the feel for the characters and what they've been through and everything.
So, thoughts?

I thought I recognised the name of the series, but I've read a different one with the same name.

I just finished the third book and waiting to be able to go to the library to get the next three (if they have them available at the time). I read the first two books a long long time ago but for some reason I just stopped so I thought I'd pick it up again.
MacHale is a wonderful writer and his characters are amazing. The world(s) that he has created seem like they could be real, I love it!
I definitely recommend this series to people of all ages.

It gets better, that's for sure! I think my favorite book, was book nine. Raven Rise. It's hard to put a favorite on them though.
I agree, the worlds he's created as well as the characters are so very well done. This is one of the books that I didn't just plain read. But more like I watched it play in my head.

I'm reading through them right now, and so far, I think they are really good. I'm on the third book, but I probably would have almost been done with the whole series by now if it weren't for all of my schoolwork.

Which one is the third one again? I can't remember them all in order anymore.
I would read throughout all my classes. The teachers would look at me and be like "... normally we have to tell the students to put away their cell phone or Ipod, not their book.."

I read the whole series. Rather good book series. I wonder if the author will write more books with kind of the same setting as the series?

Ahh I really enjoyed this series. ^o^ I was a little disappointed towards the end, but I think I was just sad to see it coming to a close. My favorite books in the series were a toss up between the 2nd one (where you meet Spader) and the 5th one (where you meet Kasha). I love Spader lots. x3 Gosh for awhile there I'd go around and say 'Hobey ho~!' and people would look at me like I'd gone crazy. Oh well~

I have read the whole series and loved it, I own almost every book in the series. I also liked the fact that it was more about action and adventure than romance. Has any one started the new Pendragon series? Its called The travelers. I have the second book in the series but I haven't gotten around to reading it and I haven't found the first one yet, kind of waiting for it to read the second one.

I love this series! I started reading it in middle school, but my books disappeared, and I only got up to book six. I wanted to read it ever since I discovered fanfics for the series, and forgot all of the characters....//fails// Do you know of any sites that I can read it online? I mean I intended to buy the books on a Nook or something since buy 12 books at once takes up a bunch of space, and is quite heavy.
