Why would someone hate you for reading a book? Personally I thought the first three books in that series were very well written. When people start hating you for reading, there's a problem...

I'm reading The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd.
My mom reccommended it to me because of my inflating interest in bees. I'm on Chapter 3 only, but so far, I'm enjoying it. The bees are extremely symbolic.

I'm also reading Le petit prince(in french) by Antoine de Saint-Exupery for school. I haven't read more than a paragraph yet so I haven't got an opinion thusfar.

At the moment, I'm reading The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass - one of my favorite books. :3 I bought both of them in one little book.

I'm not sure what I'll read next - whatever catches my interest at the book store I guess. xD

So, what are you reading? (:
Hey.. I'm reading The Saddle Club

Hurray! xD I'm actually re-reading Breaking Dawn again right now. *ducks things thrown at her, lol* I started with Twilight and moved onto New Moon so I could re-read it before the movie and I just had to keep going. 8D

I am currently reading "The Host" by Stephanie Meyer. It's so much different from the "Twilight" saga and not about vampires at all actually. The first four chapters were a bit dull to get through, but, as I found out later, necessary. Though the first chapters were dry, I find myself rather enthralled with the rest of the story and cannot put it down...

Heh heh, I work at Barnes & Noble and since I've been shelving books in the children's department, I've been drawn back into authors I used to read when I was younger. So I've been reading Fairest by Gail Carson Levine. I only have just a few pages before I finish, then I'll probably be reading my favorite by her again (The Two Princesses of Bamarre).

After that, I'll probably go and read the new books in a series I used to read (The Peter series by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson). I haven't read the two latest books in the Peter series, but I've always, always, always been a big Peter Pan fan

I just finished Levianthen by Scott Westerfeld. It was so good! I was suprised to realize that it is only the first in a seires. I can't wait for the next one. It is a historical fiction of the begining of world war I, but with a steampuckish twist.

Currently, I just finished reading The Odyssey and am about to start Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. These are both for school, but I'm an english major and I would read more stuff if I had time but the moment I get a chance to read more than just what I'm reading for school I'm going to reread a book called Unwind by Neal Shusterman. It is an amazing book and if you have any strong opinions on the abortion war (whether pro-life or pro-choice) then you should look into this book
