I'm currently reading The Immortal Secrets of Nicholas Flammel: The Alchemyst by Michael Scott. I like how it mixes the fiction of magic and alchemy and the fact of the existence of John Dee, Nicholas, and Pernelle Flammel! It's also very detailed. I feel like I can really hear the characters talking!

Naught Neighbor by Janet Evanovich.
It's one of her earlier romance novels that went out of print in a short time and has been edited and republished now that Janet Evanovich's series are so popular. Essentially it's a chick flick in book format.

So I read nothing but books that have been assigned, that being said I'm actually reading one that's fairly interesting.
I was personally fascinated with How the Irish Saved Civilization a fascinating look at Irish history.
And to keep myself sane I've been reworking my way through George R.R. Marin's a Song of Ice and Fire series, I'm currently back on a Game of Thrones for the third time.

Currently Reading:
For Class: Metamorphoses by Ovid, Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw, Girl Meets Boy by Aly Smith
For Pleasure: March to the Sea by John Ringo, Second of 4 Prince Roger books. Military Sci-Fi, Shakespeare parallels, gratuitous Kipling, and lots of Kablowie. I recommend it.
For Fanfiction: "War of the Poses" by Chris Dee, part of her Cat-Tales continuum, where the retcons are a trashy tabloid and Frank Miller is humiliated. DC Gotham the way it should be; "This Time Around" by Crimson Skies, Naruto Time-Travel, not bad at all; "This Ain't The Golden Years" by Lady Jaye, a hilarious look at JLU: old people.
Yes, I am reading all of these concurrently; I switch back and forth.

I just started reading "Slaughterhouse Five" by Kurt Vonnegut, which is rather interesting. I'm also reading the Oregon Driver's Manual, as I'm going to (hopefully) applying for my driver's learner's permit sometime soon. In regards to the fanfiction realm, currently reading/working on "Teen Titans: Coma" on fanfiction.net, and am reading one by Star of Airdrie, but I can't remember the name!! It is "Teen Titans" related, though, which makes me happy...^_^
