The one by Anne Bishop? I read it, wasn't too thrilled with it.
I ended up taking them among other books to a used books store. But I kept my Black Jewels!

My sister read a book, and knowing I like vampires, bought one for me.
It's called Undead and Unwed.
I'm only on chapter 3, but so far I'm intrigued.

well i just finished two very good books in my opinon (dont mind my spelling errors) the first one was "opperation Yes" its about a group of six graders ( a littl young for me, but im cool with that) on a millitary base. and im nt sure who thats by. but the second book called "into the wild nerd yonder" by julie halpern was very good. im a fan of her first book "get well soon" but its about a girl who starts out a new school year with dfferent friends and her brother is leaving for college next year... i was sooo laugh out loud funny!!!!

Right now I'm reading Carrie by Stephen King. My sister had found it during her first semester at college. Who leaves a book on a table and doesn't come to get it????? They must have memory problems, or they just thought someone had picked it up by the time they noticed it and where like forget it.
So far, I really like it. I also read the introduction for it (by Stephen King, of course) and I totally see how Carrie White was created through the fusion of two girls he had known when he was going to school. I also think he's doing a good job of delving into the cruel world of girl bullies. Very nicely done on his part.

I'm like, slowly reading "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies." I'm like 70 pages in because I find myself only reading for five or ten minutes at a time before my eyes hurt.

I just finished "Everything is Illuminated" by Jonathan Safran Foer. Excellent book. I miss it already.
I haven't decided what I'm going to read next, but it'll likely be "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley.
I need to buy more books... I don't have many unread ones left. :gonk:

I read "Everything is Illuminated" not long ago Cherry! :D It was a good'un. :D Pretty funny, especially the broken English parts. Those had me rolling...
I'm currently reading "House of Leaves" by Mark Danielewski (sp?). It's been creepy -- almost downright scary. We'll have to see how it ends. All the footnotes and random tangents make it take quite a long time to read.

I've been reading Ellen Hopkins a lot lately.
She's an amazing writer, and I can't get over at how awesome her writing style is. I love it!
You guys should read here, she writes about just about everything, its awesome. From drugs to bi-polar. She really connects with Teen issues.

I am currently reading "The Quest" by Wilbur Smith. It is part of his series about ancient Egypt. It's very good but somewhat graphic. xD
I saw that someone is reading The Silmarillion. Good book. I need to reread it. There are so many details and names. It gets a bit confusing to keep it all straight.

Clan Of The Cave Bear by Jean M Auel. It's perhaps overly descriptive in parts, but this makes for a good story telling feel, which i like. As the first of 6 books in the series, all of which are about 600/700 pages, i'm glad i've taken to it!
