I am reading "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee. It's quite well known, but I've never read it before, just seen the film. This book is amazing! It's bringing tears to my eyes...

im actually reading 2 books at the moment. the first book is the new one from laurell k. hamilton's - anita blake series called bullet..

and i descided to re-read all of charlaine harris's - sookie stack house books. i know the books are way different than the television show. but i dont really watch the show. i am more of a book reader ^_^

Hi! I'm new here and when I saw this thread, my eyes lit up. I read a lot...like a lot, a lot. Right now, I am in the midst of reading When it happens by Susane Colasanti. And wow...she is an amazing young adult writer. Her books speak us teenager's language and she knows what it's like to have your first love. :) It's just so cute and I love her books. Of course, I just started reading her books. I just got done reading her one book Waiting For You. She's like an easier reading version of Sarah Dessen. And don't get me wrong, Sarah Dessen is an amazing young adult writer. But when you want something more easier to read, just go for Susane Colasanti. :)

I've been reading Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood by Rebecca Wells for a while now. I'm kind of bored with it at the moment. At the moment being the last two weeks or so... I'm kind of in the mood for a Lurlene McDaniel book... I need to hit up the library.

I had to put it down for a bit because it was confusing and a slow read.

I gave up on Dragon Tears and am now reading The Fire Rose by Mercedes Lackey.
It is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. I really like it because it isn't just the same old thing.

Currently, I suppose I am trying to read the books written by H.G. Wells. Right now that would be In The Days of The Comet. I've already read The Invisible Man, The Food of the Gods, and The Time Machine.

That and I am also currently trying to read Love and War by John Jakes, which is the second book between North and South and War and Peace. Love and War is proving to be a very interesting and difficult read as it is a very large book and the perspective switches around a lot between all of the characters that have a purpose in the story... plus I often find myself busy with other things in my schedule as well.
