Currently I'm reading Fandom of the Operator by Robert Rankin. So far it's okay. Reminds me of Terry Pratchett.

Generally I like fantasy literature. My favourite books are the Harry Potter series, Lord of the Rings, His Dark Materials and everything by Neil Gaiman.

I just finished a really great book about dragons too, it's called Temeraire and it's by Naomi Novik. I'd like to read more of her stuff in the future.

Next on my list is Kafka's The Trial. I've only read one book by him so far (The Metamorphosis) and that was more like a short story. But I really liked it so I'm very excited to read The Trial.

By the way, this is a great website for bookworms everywhere. :)

i always hated the adventures of alice in wonderland. while the idea was interesting and the political+future references were hilarious, the story itself was very dry. :/

I'm reading Bryce Courtney's April Fools Day. It's a pretty good book so far. It's about his son and how he has haemophilia and it's more-or-less an autobiography of Bryce Courtney's life with his sons and how he and his wife managed their son's health problems. If you want a good cry this is it.

I'm not usually a fan of his books (have read Sylvia and Power of One) as I find his writing style very casual and rambling  . But I was recommended this book, and decided to give it a go.

I'm currently reading Uncle Tom's Cabin for school. It's actually not a bad read, but definately not light-hearted. It angers me to read about human cruelty to other humans.

I'm currently reading The Stand by Stephen King.
It's pretty long page wise but it also for some reason is taking me forever to finish xD I usually read relatively fast.
I keep dropping it, reading something else and coming back.

It is a good book though.

Even though i'm not done with the book above i've started my summer reading with the importance of being earnest. And I've also got to read a good old SAT II Mathematics book. Fun! And I have like 5 other books I need to read for school and pleasure. yay (last survivor says with muy sarcasm XD)

I'm currently reading the Darren Shan series. Just love the plot, shame about the end though. I was expecting something a little more... interesting. But it succeeded in being unexpected. Great books though!

I'm presently rereading the sixth Harry Potter book. I didn't really care enough to read it carefully the first time, so I figured I may as well do so now.
