I am currently reading three different books, because one is just not good enough: The Fairy Godmother-Mercedes Lackey, A Dirty Job-Christopher Moore and Through the Looking Glass, since I've never read it before. After my trip to Chapters this weekend, I may end up reading more too.

Just finished Lady of the Forest by Jennifer Roberson.
It's a book about Robin and Marian.
Marian is actually really progressive for a woman living in her time period. The book was written as more of a "historical" novel than the actual legend usually is.
Marian had to fight Lord Robert's father in order to marry him while she was trying to escape and unwanted marriage with the Sheriff of Nottingham. Meanwhile sir guy was drooling over her. She found herself tied to Robin by the death of her father. Her father who was a knight in King Richard's crusade died in Robin's place and he was forced to act as a messenger of death to Marian. When his message goes awry she's forced to seek him out. (Also I have a bit of a fixation with his white blond hair on the cover of the early version. No not the new "bodice-ripper" cover. I'm not blind lol.)

I just finished reading The Snow Garden by Christopher Rice. I was disappointed at the end, not because of the writing, but how it ended. It made me want to cry, and then it made me ask so many questions about this one character. I thought the book was well written.

I am currently reading the Rogue Angel Series by Alex Archer.
Currently I am on book three: The Spider Stone.
They follow the main character Annja Creed, an Archeologist who finds the final piece of Joan of Arcs's sword and magically puts it together.
Archer is an amazing writer and I would recommend this book.

Great Expectations isn't too hard to figure out. You can just do a google search for a summary of it and Sparknotes' website has a pretty good plot overview.

A Quick Bite by Lynsay Sands. It's very odd to say the least. Vampires coming from Atlantis is just one of the many delightful oddities in this one.
