I'm reading "Seventy-Two Virgins" by Boris Johnson. I probably wouldn't have picked it up if it had been by an author I hadn't known but it's a fun read.
However, "Astrotruckers" by Mikael Niemi (the English translation) arrived in the post the other day and it's very tempting (and very orange!).

I'm currently reading "Girl in blue" By Ann Rinaldi.
It's a great civil war story about a girl who runs off to join the army.
I recently finished "Enrique's Journey" by Sonia Nozario. It was a story that we read in english. It was ok in some parts but it was very repetitive.

At the moment I'm reading the Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella. I've been neglecting the book though for a while because of other things but I want to get around and finish it because then I can finally move onto Twilight, which everyone is raving about.

At the moment I'm reading What I Was by Meg Rosoff (Please excuse me if her name is a tad incorrect, I'm going by memory. >.<), as part of the school Carnegie stuff. I'm not very far into it, and I found it a little hard to get into, but my interest has been caught, so I will finish it.
A choice of my own is Feet Of Clay, by Terry Pratchett, which I've read before and enjoyed. I would like to re-read The Hogfather at some point, too.
If fanfiction counts, I'm currently reading a few Harry Potter stories.
As far as non-fiction goes, I'm working my way through a vegetarian cookery book aimed at students, and an encyclopedia aimed at children/young teenagers, which is a little 'iffy'.

I just began reading Summer of My German Soldier by Bette Greene. It takes place during World War II in Jenkinsville, Arkansas. And pretty much it's about the summer of Patricia Bergen [I think that was her name], or Patty. In Jenkinsville, they have a place for German soldiers, and one, Frederick Anton Reik, manages to flee. Eventually, he goes to Patty, who he talked to for a little bit when buying cotton hats sometime earlier in the book, and she hides him is an old garage her family never uses above the servants' quarters. This is about my third time reading this book, it's not that I'm reading it again because I love it or anything, but it's because I had MCAS and I needed a book and I didn't have enough time to go to the library so I just grabbed a book off of my shelf, all of them read at least twice.

This book was really funny, a quick read, and made me curious about the time period when it's set.

There is a Season, Inheritance Series #1 by Lynn and Gilbert Morris
I really liked the Cheney Duvall series, that they wrote together (8 books) and this is a new series when Cheney is married. :D

I'm a multi-tasker when it comes to reading, so I'm reading Lolita, Hannibal, The Host, Jesus Land (which I picked up from my English teacher because the title reminded me of some sort of strange amusement park. My friend and I had a lot of fun making up names for the rides XP), and Gay New York (a somewhat textbook-type thing on the history of gay culture in New York). Once those are finished, I'm starting on the Narnia series =3

Currently reading the second, and last book in Carol Berg's Lighthouse series, called Breath and Bone.
The series is fantastic. An absolutely stunning example of a first-person narrative. Plus, all the characters are amazingly well developed and just gorgeously portrayed.
Oh, i love these books. <3

I am reading children of henry viii, listening to Mary and Elizabeth, and reading masque of the black tulip on the e reader, I tend to have multiple stories at a time. Who else here is doing the 50 book challenge? I have read 12 so far, but I read a bunch more before I started keeping track.
