I just finished with Paulo Coelho's The Fifth Mountian, the first of his books i've read. I'd reccommend it to anyone doing a bit of soul searching, as with all of this books it would seem.

I'm also reading The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy (Douglas Adams) and another of Coelho's books, Brida.

I'm currently reading A Redbird Christmas by Fannie Flagg. It's my third book by her this week. She's a really good author.

I'm reading, for the first time, "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" by Victor Hugo. Quite outrageously, I'm reading it in English, because I don't have an original french copy. It's really quite humorous, and the main character isn't even in the Disney movie. I'm enjoying it!

I'm reading something called "The Magic Engineer"
by L.E. Modesitt, Jr.

I'm not sure if I like the writer's style. It's rather stilted. The story seems good, though.

Currently reading . . .
'Salem's Lot by Stephen King. I'm trying to work my way through his whole collection. Vampies and good writing for the win! =p I'm also re-reading The Moon is a Harsh Mistress by Heinlein. One of the best books I've ever read. =)

Currently, I am reading Great Expectations for English Honors in my freshman year. I hattteeee it. D: It's practically impossible to read because of the way it's writen; Old English = not fun.
I also have to read A Separate Peace, but I haven't started it yet.
I am also reading All-American Girl for my library's summer book club.

Um.
Great Expectations was NOT written in Old English.
You want Old English? Try reading an un-translated Canterbury Tales.
THAT'S Old English.

@Connielass:
Fine then, it's written in This-Is-So-Boring-It-Makes-Me-Want-To-Kill-Myself English.

I've finished All-American Girl, and have started reading Life As We Knew it.

I wanna read Great Expectations, or just more Dickens in general. Hard Times was hilarious.

Just finished listening to Stephen Fry read the last Harry Potter book, I think my next audiobooks will be more Jeeves and Wooster. I'm also still reading Interview With the Vampire.

I am currently reading the third installment of the five book series The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod, and the book is called, "Tenth Grade Bleeds." It's about a vampire teenage boy whose parents were killed in a terrible fire and his mother was human. He is believed to be a Pravus, which is a vampire that was born a vampire. Apparently, he's the only one, and someone can become a Pravus by killing the former Pravus. It's darkly humorous, and it relates to puberty, but puberty must be much harder for a vampire :D

Reading From Dead to Worse by Charlaine Harris.
I don't know why I'm still reading this series. I don't think it is good. Parts make no since and I don't really like the main character but I just keep reading. lol

I am currently reading 'A House of many ways' by Dianna Wynne Jones, sequel of Howl's moving Castle. I know it's for young adults and all but I have to admit that D.W.Jones' way of writting gets my full attention for some reason and she's a btter writer than JK Rowling. Unfortuantelly, yes I was a Harry Potter freak but when I started reading DWJ's books...I was amazed...
