as of right now I'm working on a book i borrowed from my schools library called The Book of Five Rings. It technically has two books, the rings one and then another called The Book of Family Traditions on the Art of War. The first one is by Miyamoto Musashi and the second it by Yagyu Munenori, both of whom were well known swordsman/martial artist in Japan and lived in very different time frames and political situations. Its basically their philosophy of the sword and its pretty awesome, especially since they were written in the 1300's and 1600's. :D

Sabriel is by Garth Nix. =]
And it's not so hard to read multiple books at once; I find that I need a break from one so I switch to the other. It's easy to keep plot lines separate if I read a paragraph or two before where I last left off.

I'm currently reading Fugitive Prince by Janny Wurts/ It's the fourth in her Wars of Light and Shadow series, and so far, it's been pretty engaging! I do wish I hadn't started reading it, though, 'cause it is still incomplete, but it's going to give me a lot of pleasure to read the series over again when it is complete!

Well I was reading PROPHECY OF THE SISTERS By Michelle Zink. Not an author I've heard of before but a decent read at that. Very captivating.

I am not literally reading anything, but i mainly listen to the books as i draw, or drive. I just recently finished "Pride Predjudice and Zombies" which was so amazing and hilarious.
As well I finished the book "The Neighbor" by Lisa Gardner
I started "Salem's Lot" around the end of my trip recently after the prior book was over.
I am about to start "Norwegian Wood" by Haruki Murakami, because i am a fan of original japanese fiction after reading Koji Suzuki's "Ring" Series

I am currently reading umm... Hunted by PC Cast and Kristin Cast.
It's pretty good, this one in the series is kinda like a filler, but it's written alright for a teen book.

Currently I'm reading Butcher Bird, by Richard Kadrey. It's. . . pretty different from just about everything else I've read, which is nice. It's also fairly bleak and very dark. And very not for the kiddies. It's pretty good, though. I've certainly been enjoying it.

I am so happy that you have a book posting site, and mihosama I sincerly LOVE the Drow series, I haven't been able to keep up with the current ones but the entire Drow chronicles and the editors themselves are all good books, at least the ones I read. But this post is about the books your reading NOW!! Oh...um right now I'm reading the last 2 books of the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton...I love Laurell K. Hamilton!!Aren't you going to introduce me?! Alright already, for those who have NOT read my intro the red text is my brain child Lusalma, same person answers but different personalities. YEAH, I'm the better side!!.....well not really, given the fact that I'm a figment of my creators imagination, ugh!

I am currently reading a book called an Afternoon in March. It is an ok book so far, but it's a little slow and hard to get into. It seems to be a common thing with the dominant writing style of the time in which it was written.
You see, it was written 50 years ago or so and is about the time in US history around 1910. The writer shamelessly refers to African Americans as "Coloreds" which is, I'm assuming, to reflect the way people spoke back then.
There isn't much of a build up though and not much rising action at this point so I'm finding it a little hard to maintain focus.

I'm reading Mr. Murder by Dean Koontz. It's good, but someone spoiled it for me so it's not as good as it could be.
Kleid- Loooove Odd Thomas! Odd is such a wonderful character. I have yet to read the other books, though.
Silwen- Murtagh and Nasuada are my favorite characters in the series, though I like how it mostly follows Eragon's story. A lot of the other characters wouldn't even be in the books if they centered on Murtagh
