I love Rob Thurman's stuff! She's great. If you like her, you'd probably (maybe) like Simon R. Green. Drinking Midnight Wine is a good one to start with, or Blue Moon Rising. ^^

You know, I actually like soem Shakespearean plays. I love taming of the shrew. Book wise though, my all time favorite is Where the Red Fern Grow. I brings me to tears all the time. And it is just written so beautifully that I am moved every single time i read it. I do enjoy the Harry Potter series, but it's for youngester. I absolutely LOVE moonlight, Bella and Edward is just so cute in there. Hawksong is also a very good book about shapeshifters of snakes and hawk coming together. These books can always refer to our political society if you think carefully. I love to read.

first of all, your title has a wrong grammar.
it should be WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE BOOKS?
^^

anyway... what I really like are fictional books especially those from the middle ages, espeially medieval times.

*Remembrance (Jude De veraux)
*Paradise (Judith McNaught) - modern
* books by Sidney Sheldon
I've read quite a lot of his books. I like Rage of Angels
* all books that I've read by Julie Garwood
she's really a good author.

My favorite author would be Paulo Coelho, his book "Veronika decides to die" is one of my favorites and I recommend it to anyone ;)
I also love the book "The knight of the Rusted Armor", by Robert Fisher. It's my favorite book after all ^_^

PS: "Le Petit Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry is the third in my list of faves :] It awakes the sensitive child inside of one-self.

I usually read manga but... My favorite books include the Twilight series (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and soon to be Breaking Dawn). I recently read this good book (my opinion) called The Life/Murder of Bindy Mackenzie. The story was kinda weird but I enjoyed it! Another one of my favorite books are The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants. Even though it's a simple story about these girls with their ~magical pants~ it's a great book!

The Speed of Light by Elizabeth Moon - I really, really liked the theme of this book. It quite amazing to me. I picked it up at the library one day and I fell in love. One book I could NEVER put down. It's about a man with autism who is faced with the choice of being 'normal'.

Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury - This was a book I had to read for school, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Wonderful book. I couldn't stop reading. Great theme too :)

The Giver by Lois Lowry - Just a great childhood book that touched me. A wonderful subject for young children to read about.

The Possibility of Fireflies by Dominique Paul - I met the author in person, and I really was moved by her speech. So I decided to read her book. And this is one of the only book that has managed to make me tear up. I'm a sheltered child, so I really thank this book for giving me insight for what it's really like for some teenagers out there.

My favorite book is Girl with a Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier. The way the author writes is absolutely magical, it's unlike anything I've ever read before. The ending is kind of unique, too, when you finish the book it feels like something's just slipped away and out of your reach, probably because it's just short of being a completely happy ending.
Anyways.
It's really hard to describe why I love this book so much.
Just go read it!
It's awesome! D: <3

My all time favorite book is most definitely Phantom by Susan Kay. I'm actually not a huge fan of the original Phantom. I think Kay's version is much more beautiful and romantic in that Gothic sense. I just love it. Erik is portrayed in such a violent but beautiful manner. His past is enthralling and even though he does terrible things you can't help but adore him.

I'm also a big fan of Terry Brooks, particularly his Shannara series. The characters are just too cute and its one of the few books that actually made me cry. A certain death in the Elf Queen book is what got me. I don't want to spoil it for anyone that hasn't read.

Really like Harry Potter too. I was rather pleased with how she ended it too. I like that Harry wasn't Mr. Big Hero in the end. And even tho I was sad that so many of them died, I like that she didn't sugar coat it at all. A battle of that magnitude would, of course, end in a few deaths. I hope she continues to write. Even if she doesn't continue Harry Potter, I hope she writes.

I do love the Harry Potter Series. I also love books written my Jasper Fforde. He has 2 series one is Thursday Next (she is basically a cop who jumps around in literature) and Nursery Crimes (a sleuth who solves nursery rhyme crimes). They are hilarious and incorporate a lot of classic stories into the plot.
