I'd have to say "There's a Boy in the Girl's bathroom" by Louis Sachar, "CRANK" by Ellen Hopkins, and "Wreck This Journal" by Keri Smith. But my favorite book of all time is "Go Dogs, Go, by Dr. Seuss.

My favorite books right now are "The Story of Edgar Sawtelle" by David Wroblewski and then "The Tea Rose" and "The Winter Rose" by Jennifer Donnelly which are part of the unfinished Rose Trilogy. I can't wait until she's finished writing the third one. 8D

The Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series. It's my absolute favorite. Well, it's more like They're then it's... since it is a bunch of books.. but it is it's because I'm talking about a series as a whole... *blinks* Err Yeah, Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Series.. A must read.

I'm actually staring at my book shelf right now (right next to comp) and all my favorites are in it! From childhood, the Serendipity books (pink and green dragon logo, had long eyelashes and huge doe-like eyes), specifically Leo the Lop! My current favorite books are: the Kushiel's Dart series by Jacqueline Carey, the Otherland series by Tad Williams, the classic Earth's Children series (starts with Clan of the Cave Bear) and 'The Memoirs of Cleopatra'.

I would say Harry Potter, but everyone else is saying that, it is my favorite series so far.

My favorite book(other than the Harry Potter Series) would have to be Shadow Thieves (By Anne Ursu)

I like pretty much anything written by Terry Pratchett(Discworld), Charlaine Harris(Sookie Stackhouse Series)Piers Anthony (Xanth Trilogy, there are about 32 books in that one.... I don't get it either), and Tamora Pierce (Alanna Series). I am currently reading a book by a new author, the book's called The Good Fairies of New York or something like that.

I'm always faced with a difficult decision when it comes to these sorts of questions. I really loved the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld. It has some rather interesting concepts and outlooks on the idea of 'beauty' in our society.

I also really love Isobelle Carmody's Obernewtyn series. It has that post apocalyptic feel to it interwoven in an essentially fantasy style setting.

And of course, a recent favourite, 'Peeps' also by Scott Westerfeld which turns the vampire mythos on its head.

I always forget I've read Silmarillion. xD

The beginning was sooo hard to get through, I've tried twice when I was 12 then finally when I was 19 I read it completely. But the end of it is sooo good.
Once there are people and all, that's when it becomes a marvolous book.

The Artemis Fowl Series
Harry Potter
The Lord of the Rings + aanhangers etc

yeah... alot of people seem to dislike her books, but i love them. i just hope they don't make any more of them into movies. they completely halfassed it with my sister's keeper!! :( i was so pissed about the ending, because it totally ruined the point of the book. they're supposed to lose anna, and it's important, because they were all prepared a little for losing kate, but not anna! they did the same thing to the notebook, too.

I tend to like anything that's a well-written urban fantasy that doesn't focus too much on romance. (...which, somehow, is very hard to find.)

So far, my favorite books are Magic Can be Murder, Heir Apparent (stuck in a video game and she keeps dying? EPIC.), House of Night Series, and that might be it.
You can throw Twilight in there for it's sappy, cliche love scenes that make me wanna draw.
