I read many books and it is always hard to say which is my favorite but I decided to chose one I love.

Warchild by Karin Lowrchee. It is a scifi book.

It's about an eight year old boy who gets enslaved by space pirates. Thus starting his journey to the world of the strits, Earth's alien enemy.

Very short description but don't want to give to much away.
This author also wrote Burndive and Cagebird which also take place in the same universe with various characters showing up in all three books.

I find the main characters in each book different and very well written.

Warning- Warchild and Burndive have hints of homosexuality and/or molestation. Cagebird is pretty open with different types of sexuality and can get explicit.

What is the name of your favorite book? Please tell me the name of its author too. I am very curious about the favorites of people. My favorite book is "Switchers" by Kate Thompson. I found it very interesting. I want to know your opinions.;)

Please remember to search the forum before posting a new topic.

I'm going to state first that I'm a fantasy genre lover so such is the genre of the books I list.
Artemis Fowl<3 will love forever
Inkheart trilogy
The Divide trilogy
The Thief Lord
The Lightning Thief
The Warrior Heir (and whatever sequals there are)
This is just a sampling of my favorites and since they come to mind first, they've obviously stuck with me.

I just love reading books! I don't really care what the book's title is as long as I have a book to read. You should read a wrinkle in a time! Also all the books from that book's author! I like it because it whirls me inside the book and it feels like I am inside the book! Sometimes I get so carried away with the book I read. I don't pay attention to the teacher so when he asks me to come up and play a game (we play games because it is easier to remember what we are studying)I just stared straight not knowing wat to do but I usually catchup to it because my best friend told me what it is all about. You see books are like places you can go without really going there.

I'm going through a Stephen King and Anne Rice stage.

I'm currently in middle of two different books. Gerald's Game by Stephen King and Interview with a Vampire by Anne Rice.

Both incredibly good.

GAH! I absolutely LOVE fantasy!!!!! I really like books with fanitasy and romance. The ones where u fall in love with someone that could never exsist. those kind of books are the kind that keep me wanting more. The closest "prince charming" "edward culleneqse" boyfrined I'll ever have is my fiance. He is perfect. The books i read show me what kind of guy I want because when i fall for the person in the book its kind of hard not to look for those qualities in others. Right?

My favorite book is The Halloween Tree by Ray Bradbury. My parents gave me a copy of it for Halloween when I was in the third grade. I've reread it a lot over the years, so now it is a little worse for wear. I should probably buy myself another copy.

My favorite book is The Last of the Mohicans. It's such a great adventure story, but it's also got some great symbolism and themes going on in it. I like the movies that have been made of it, but they irk me a little because they screw up so much of the book (I mean, they completely switch the main characters' roles, and it destroys everything).
