well mine are by Michael Scott series is The Life And Times of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel I have the first 2 haven't read the third the first one is The Alchemyst it is talking about well Nicholas Flamel himself then the second book is The Magician which is talking about Comte De saint Germain still trying to get The Sorceress which is about Perenelle Flamel waiting for The Necromancer which in the us comes out May 25 2010 almost a year after the 3rd book which came out May 26 2009 if I am correct it is talking about Doctor John Dee the original 007 for Queen Elizabeth
don't try pushing your "Twilight" crap on me or you might get insulted like I might call it Twatlight it ain't even close to true how vampires are and I should know I have been considered one because thirst for blood(drinking not just spilling it out of someone) human blood and oh yes because of that I have been called the abomination of the Human race

While I am a fan of many books and many different authors, the one author who stands out above the rest, in my honest opinion, is an English author by the name of David Clement-Davies. He has written such great books as "The Sight" and its sequel "Fell", his debut book "The Firebringer" and "The Telling Pool". Perhaps his crowning achievement, however, was writing the screenplay for the childrens movie "Stallion: Spirit of the Cimmaron"
My favorite of his books would be "The Sight" and "Fell" a great couple of books written about a wolf pack, two wolves in particular, and their struggles both in their lives, and with an ancient, forbidden ability known as "The Sight" and how it relates them to the human world. Its a great collection of books and I recommend them to absolutely anyone.

"Mees, kes teadis ussisõnu" by Andrus Kivirähk. Kivirähk is one of the few Estonian writers I love.
The other is Kaur Kender. One of my favorite piece from him is "Iseseisvuspäev".

My favorite book is Fight Club.
I think Chuck Palahniuk is very original when it comes to his style of writing (and the story is always thought provoking.)

Virtually anything fantasy is always good for me, as long as the writer doesn't have a jumpy writing style. However my favorite book is probably Hitchhikers Guide.

I'd deffinetely have to say the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini. It's amazing reading them and seeing how his writing improves from book to book. Not to mention they're just fun and the characters are fantastic. Each race has its own culture and customs, it's really quite fascinating.
Of course Patricia Brigg's Mercy Thompson novels and Jim Butcher's Dresden Files are amazing too. There just aren't enough good werewolf books.
Terry Brooks and David Eddings have got to be on the top of my list as well.

My favorite book is Chain Mail. I think it´s by Hiroshi Ishizaki. It is about some girls that makes their own little world in cyberspace if we say so-just to tell about the book in a really, really short version xD Tho i recommend it dearly! i got so stuck in that book,i read for 2 hours and thought i read for 10 minutes. so it is a book that has a big suprise in the end,i would want to see if someone could know the end of it without reading it (bet nobody can-if they havn´t heard the end, that´s cheating D:). but as said,i recommend it.
