I've always wondered if I should get into that series. I thought about it back when I read Harry Potter but now I've gown older and my tastes have changed. I did hear from a friend that it was quite slow going and dull at first, that's what put me off.

I haven't had time to read that Artemis Fowl book I bought. It looks good though.

I just finished the last book recently. I'm a bit upset because i had heard that she wasn't going to work on artemis fowl books for the next 3 years, i don't want to have to wait that long. The ending didn't seem complete.

I'm not sure if any of you have read the series Artemis Fowl but I do recommend it. It is a rather nice book to read, mixing myths with science and a little prodigy in it too.

It's rather easy to read and understand, heart-warming and touching in all the books. c: If you have free time, you should pick it up and read it.

Eoin Colfer is also wrote Airman, Supernaturalist, The Wishlist and much more. c: They aren't half bad as well.

Try them sometime.

I quite like these books, though I have to be in the right frame of mind to read them. I think they are very amusing books and very witty. For example I could not help but laugh at the L.E.P Recon unit - very clever, my favourite characters would have to be artemis, butler and foaly. < he;s like a laugh a minute!
I don;t understand why it hasn;t been turned in to a film yet!

I have the first four but the last one seemed to drag a bit so I stopped reading them.

I remember I got the Artemis Fowl series from a friend on my Birthday. Her mom had read it and recomended it so my friend got it for me. I was slightly reluctant to read it because people were saying it was like Harry Potter (I didn't like Harry Potter).

I liked it better than Harry Potter. xD
I think it just has to do with it took me forever to read the books, and I haven't even read the last Harry Potter book yet.
I'm up to date in Artemis Fowl though. If I'm correct there eight books right?

I love the Artemis Fowl series! I have all of them and have read most of them twice. But I didn't like the last one, it went a totally different direction then the first ones and the one right before it. Where's Minerva... where's the magic... where's the good old evil?

Great series! Everything about it was marvelous, especially the creatures. I also enjoyed Eoin Colfer's poke at modern pop culture. My favourite is wither the first one or "The Lost Colony". I enjoyed "The Time Paradox", but it was a little too confusing, a bit more of a challenging read than the previous five.

I've only read the first three Artemis Fowl books. I don't own the later ones, and I've read parts of a few of them, but I kinda feel like the first three are the best.

Artemis Fowl is a great series. I have read all of the books. The Time Paradox is my favorite. I have read the Eternity Code at least three times.
