I had to read Howl's Moving Castle - Diana Wynne Jones - and I disliked the way it was written. Also I hated Goggle Eyes and I can't remember the author.

I like Holes by Louis Sachar... I can't really remember many books that I've read at school.

I loved The Great Gatsby, Ender's Game, and To Kill a Mockingbird, but books such as Pride & Prejudice, Wuthering Heights, etc...boring!

I didn't like most of the books we read in school but I had three that I liked; Animal Farm, Shakespeare's Macbeth and Hamlet. Those are the only one that I like that we had to read for school

For school I had to read: The Outsiders, Bridge to Terabithia, Tuck Everlasting, Romeo and Juliet, The Old Man and the Sea, Animal Farm, Greek Gods, Goddesses, Monsters, and Heroes; and The Odyssey. The list is probably so much longer, but my brain is fried and I can't think right now. I really didn't think they were all that amazing, but I lived with them, but Bridge to Terabithia, was defiantly the one to take the cake for my hate list. I just couldn't stand that book.

I'm really looking forward to Brit. Lit. next year so, I'm sure there will be some books I liked on that list soon. :boogie:

Godless

Disliked:
Romeo and Juliet -read this play like five times.
The Great Gatsby
To Kill a Mocking Bird

Actually, I did this thing where I had to read at least 7 books out of a list of 20. So I read alot of random books over my high school years that were required. . Though I liked alot of them. Its too bad I cant remember the title of this one book I hated with a passion. I just cant recall the book title at all...

I greatly enjoyed The Outsiders, To Kill a Mockingbird, A Once and Future King, and currently The Odyssey.
I could have gone right along in life without having to read Night or Yellow Raft in Blue Water, though.

Oh I wish I would have read as cool books as you guys have ^^; We had pretty boring national books.. Usually about old finnish guys going hunting or something xDD Oh, I remember one: Tuntematon sotilas- Unknown soldier. It's about a war in Finland, and the movie of it and the book are pretty good. I've never read the whole book though, it's too heavy x'D

Usually get got to pick the books we wanted to read and tell the whole class about them.

Edit: Oh! Dr. Jekyll & Mr.Hyde is a great book! A very short one too, haha. I was supposted to read it for school, but I never did. Now after many years, I wanted to really read it because it's been collecting dust on my shelf.

You can't believe how shocked I was that the book was actually really good! o_o;

Oh! I read The Outsiders!! It was quite interesting. We even watched the movie after!! ^.^
But that was in 8th grade. I just started 9th grade, and we just finished reading "The Most Dangerous Game" in our Literature book. It was a good story. :)

In 7th grade we read something about these snakes. o.O;;
And the Night book by Ellie Weasel.

-The Giver by Lois Lowry

-The Odyssey
-The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton

I think my all time favorite would have to be the Odyssey, it was just an amazing story. :D
