She is an amazing author. I love the way she writes with such detail and intensity. You really feel like you are the character.

Have you read any of her books?
My Sister's Keeper.
Perfect Match.
Picture Perfect.
Second Glance.
Nineteen Minutes.
Etc.

I find her writing style and the character interactions cliche most of the time, but her understanding of human behaviour and our complex relationships is still amazing. I love that dimension of her work.

Unfortunately, I found after reading My Sister's Keeper and Salem Falls, the layout became pretty predictable. :?

I've read the two above, Plain Truth, Keeping Faith, and The Tenth Circle. They're good if you want something to keep you on your toes.

I mean, I threw My Sister's Keeper across the room and refused to pick it up till I'd calmed down after a certain incident. And I got told off for reading it under my desk during Maths.

Ironically, I read Keeping Faith after reading Richard Dawkins The God Delusion, pretty much complete opposites. And having read Julie Gregory's Sickened I was uncomfortably familiar with MBP. I swear Jodi Picoult must have read it sometimes.

So, yeah, basically I think she's brilliant, but you can't read too many of her recent books without some want for variation, unless you're really into law. :D

I bought the book My sister's keeper by
Jodi Picoult, but I haven't gotten the
chance to read it. It seems interesting
though, and I'm curious as to what it is about.
