Curious to know if anyone has ever read two of the above for mentioned books. Both are really interesting books on a fantasy type theme with draconic characters. They have awesome plots and the characters are so interesting. My favorites have to be Rue and Amalia, both so intriguing in their own way.
Of course, I was weird and read them backwards, but they both made sense anyway. I wish I read them in the right order, would've made a lot more sense sooner.
So has anyone ever heard of them or read them? ^^

Funny fact about me finding them is because I was drawn to the Dream Thief by its cover, silly no? Well, it had two intertwining dragon figures, was blue and appeared shiny. I have to say, I'm a sucker for going after books with nice intriguing covers. Was a great choice on my part, I went through the books in less than a week, and I didn't want them to end. I hope she comes out with another book, a thrid one would be so nice.
Can't believe I've gotten back into reading for fun again.

Thief, you mean?
Sorry, I'm a spelling nazi.
You know, that's what drew my eye to the book at first, too, the pretty shiny dragon cover. Since I'm on a romance novel kick lately, I read the blurb and thought it looked interesting, and I did really enjoy Smoke Thief. I like it when authors combine fantasy elements with regency-type romance, and she did it quite well.
I didn't like Dream Thief as well, though. I didn't find the characters particularly enthralling, and I thought it ended too quickly and too pat.
Abe has written another book, which is almost like three stories in one, called "The Last Mermaid" about a few generations of sirens who live on a remote Irish island. I think that book is written much better, with quite compelling characters and an interesting premise.
That said, I'll certainly check Abe's Drakon books out of the library as soon as she finishes them, but I prefer her other works.

I haven't read the last Mermaid yet, I might go get that one today at Borders or something, I love her work, very interesting. The covers are gorgeous as well. Glad to see someone else out there has read them too ^^

I loved Smoke Thief, haven't read Dream Thief yet though, i don't know what it is but i have noticed that most of us on this thread noticed (and wanted) the Dream Thief because of its cover, i have to admit it is one very beautiful cover.
though the Smoke Thief was in the stores fantasy section when i got it so my romance novel kick is just kicking in (bad joke)lol

I've just read both of these and it was the covers that drew me also :) I thoroughly enjoyed both books. :)

I think I'll be looking up those next time I go to the library. Dragons, Romance and Thieves.... Can't fail unless it's poorly written, but it sounds amazing.
