Hey, I introduced you to those! =D Well, actually... My mom did in a round-about way. I haven't read any of them yet, but I totally pawned them off on you when you raided my book collection.
Come to think of it... Did I loan you the first two or the first three books? n.n;

Oh god YES!
Those are my favorite books. =3 I think my favorite out of the three, though, was Ptolemy's Gate. I liked how Barty and Nat worked together in the end.

I've only had a chance to read the first one, though I do intend to read the others.... And seeing this thread has reminded me that it's been a while since I read it! I think I need to go out and get myself a copy, cause I only got it from the library last time... ^__^

I've read the whole series and really liked it.
I was a little disappointed with the last book. But the other two I enjoyed.

I've read the first one, and I'm mid way through the second. I love his approach and explanations.

Bartimaeus defines amazing literature for me. <3 It's one of my favorites! Bartimaeus is one of my favorite literary characters of all time, he's so lovable and he brings a smile to my face every time he opens his mouth. What a clever style it's written in, what with the footnotes and all!
Would you beleive I almost didn't read it all? I nearly quit the first book, because I thought it was boring, but then I resolved to finish it. On page 150, something funny happened (the scene involving a rude imp and some asterisks) that made me laugh and laugh, and from there it got amazing. I got the second and third books as soon as I could, and never again did I think it was boring.
I cried and cried when I finished, though. DX

LOVE.
The series is pretty far below my reading level, but I just love it to death. Bartimaeus is so amazing and snarky and sarcastic and irreverent and wonderful! And Nat is so well-written in the way you alternately love him and hate him, almost switching back and forth with each page.
Kitty is so fantastically awesome.
And I cried bunches at the end as well. D;

These books are probably my favorite series of all time!
I adored everything about them, especially Barty's witty footnotes sprinkled throughout. I tore through all three of them, and was devastated when I finished the last for the simple reason that there were no more to read. I'm fairly certain I liked all three of them, though after two years I have a bit of trouble remembering. I think that means I should read them again. xD I am sorely tempted to, but I have so much else to read right now I think I'll be putting it off a while longer.
But anyway, yeah! Awesome, awesome series! I recommend it to everyone I can get my hands on that haven't read it yet.

Oh man, I JUST finished that trilogy. I got the first book in the series a few months back in Colorado (unfortunately, there was a printing error, where the first thirty pages was repeated and page 31-60 weren't printed at all, and I left before I could return it). Then I had my birthday on the 29th last month and got the last two books in the series.
I was hooked on them and had a hard time putting them down. I don't even know where to begin with this series. I loved the characters, I love how perfectly everything unfolded, I liked how it tested my intellect like most books can't. (I'm very good at picking up on small cues and predicting outcomes, and this series managed to trick me a few times or leave me stumped.)
