The bookstore.
Which is terrible. Since I should really be paying for the books if I'm going to bend their bindings and read them. But, never the less, I read them right there, as I lay across the isles. I love to look at the nasty glares I get from people as they walk past. Especially in the manga isle. Because there's so many people in this one little isle. And they get so angryyy. It's pretty funny. |
I like to read in my room while laying on my bed. Mostly because I find it the most comfortable place that is free of distractions and noise. |
I don't like reading at my bed, yet I love on my sofa, since it's big enough to me lay as I wanna and has a good natural illumination =D

Outside.
Davis Square. Usually on Fridays, because guys with guitars like to come play. I also like reading in my bed before I go to sleep. And on benches. Actually, I like to read almost anywhere as long as it's quiet or there's music playing. |
Where I read depends on the time of day and my mood, really. I can be happy reading outside at the park, though it can be rather noisy there, or I'll be happy curling up into a ball on the couch or in bed and just reading away. I just love to read- doesn't really matter where to me... As long as it's comfy and quiet =)

In the library after school. :D I'm usually stuck there for about 40 minutes every day. It's awesome because no one else is around. AND the librarians let me check out my own books, so I don't have to wait for them to do it. :P Or, in my room with the windows open and the lights off. (During the day, of course.) But I only do that on my days off.

The beach. A couple years back, I went to visit my cousin who lives about a half hour from the ocean. We went to the library and checked out some books, then went down to the beach. The waves crashing against the sand made a very calming atmosphere and it was peaceful and relaxing just sitting there reading. Got a nice tan too. xD

There's this huge window, looking out into a little garden, and a group of comfy armchairs around it. It's really the best place in the school. At home, though, I prefer the couch, or my dad's recliner. |
I like to read in my bed. Sometimes I'll read while I'm lying on a couch, but I don't like to read while sitting. And I can't read in cars because I get a headache from it.

At the end of the boardwalk going out into the marsh in Pawley's Island, SC. It's so incredibly peaceful and calming. *sigh* I wish I could be there right now...

depends on what season it is. If it is winter I like to curl up on the couch/loveseat/chair with a cup of apple cider with christmas music playing softly in the background. In the summer I like to go outside with my music, climb a tree with wide branches and read. It is very comfy and peaceful to sit with nature and read a good book.

I read mostly anywhere, but my favorite spot has to be my sisters tree house sitting on a bean bag chair or under a tree with my back propped up on the trunk sitting on a blanket with coffee in a traveling mug. Sometimes I listen to Classical music when reading too, its really comfertable and soothing.

Ahh, I love reading so much... my two favourite places to read would have to be on the couch downstairs, or in my bed. And I tend to enjoy reading for long periods of time, so I generally have a cup of tea with me; it's heavenly. <3
That being said, I can also read in some of the strangest positions xD Back when we had a chair with a footstool thing (I can't remember the real word for it right now D: ), I would lay on my stomach on it... with my feet up the back of the chair and my stomach on the foot area xD It was quite comfortable, actually. |
My favourite place to read is on my chaise in the living room. I always have a book handy for all those annoying commercials. Of course I hit the mute button and usually end up more into the book than the TV show and then miss most of the rest of the show. Ah well, that’s what re-runs are for :D .

I usually like to read anywhere, but mostly when the seat is squishyish. But not too squishyish. I just don't like it hard much.
=3 This reminds me of my reading class. We had this homework sheet with questions asking us things and this was one of them. But we had to pick out of three answers... I forget what they were. I think it was like warm, hot, or cool rooms...? o_0 |

Honestly I'll read almost anywhere, though I cant read in the car any longer when my dad drives (he's a maniac) but I'll read anywhere I can as my current book is with me almost all the time.
Restaurants (while waiting to be seated), theaters while waiting for movies, in the car or around the house it doesnt matter. I have to admit though reading outside is the best, or at least by a window. one just cant beat natural light to read by. as for reading position I'm pretty lazy and prefer to recline on my behind or if I'm sleepy and in bed then I'll put the book on my stomach. I cant stand to lay on my belly and read, kills me neck so quickly. |
I realy love to read in my own room. Mostly in Autum when its misty outsid I sit on the heathing with a a cup of the and some cookies. Just awesome.
In summer I like to lie in a hammock outsite in the garden. Thats lovely. And do you know where I also like to read? In shool... during the chemetry lessons *gg* because they are soooo boring and when I'm going by bus or train. |
I like to read on the bus, on my way to school with me legs pressed up against the seat, close to me chest, and my feet dangling and they are slowly...ever so slowly falling asleep into the pins and needles state, I love reading with my feet asleep.

I love to read in my room or in the living room where my mom is. I mostly read near my mom though because it gives me a chance to catch up on my reading as well as teach her abit of English along the way. I also read with my back pressed against something, If I dont have something to sit and lay against on then I cant concentrate or read the book.My bed would also be a good spot ^_^.
