I read in the oddest position actually -- I prefer to read alone on my bed. I lay down on my side and hold the book up with the arm that I'm not laying on and the opposite foot.

Don't ask my why I find that the most comfortable way to read, I just do and I've been doing so for years XDDD

But when I'm around other people or at school - i sit kind of curled in my desk and read that way instead XD

I mostly just lay on my bed and read in all sorts of random positions. I can't really read anywhere else in the house since I still live with my parents and I'm always bothered every three seconds if I read in the living room or something. Sometimes I'll read at my boyfriend's house as well, just because he'll give me a book that he thinks is awesome, and we'll just sit there and read together (I'll recommend a book for him too so he doesn't get on the computer or something, haha) in his room. I don't believe I've ever read outside or in the park, just because I'm easily disturbed or I'll just sit there watching the water go over the dam or ducks in a stream or something instead of actually being able to get into the book. I have a lot of problems with that, haha.

I like to read curled up on my bed. I could read in the living room (on the sofa) or at the formal dinning table (yes, we have an unformal one where we normally eat dinner) but that would be uncomfortable. If its just a short essay or MC (mulitple choice) passages, then it would be on my desk. But if its a section of a novel for class or just reading pleasure than I'll cuddle on my bed :D yay! But my neck n arms will get tired sometimes so I have to always randomly flip until I feel sore again. XD I used to love reading in libraries~ but sometimes the awkward quietness. . distracts me~ hahaha!

In library (especially in the summer) it's air conditioned and so quiet~<3

In meh bed (because it's soft and comfy) and on a single sofa like chair... side ways.... with my feet hanging in the air.

In my bedroom, total silence; so I can focus in what I'm reading.

The library of my school is very creepy so I don't go there too much, also there ara always students "studying" [most likely playing and making weird noises], and I'm a very sensitive person, so that would make me distracted.

i like to read curled up in a sofa.. it just feels the best..
don't like reading outdoors coz the sun's usually too blinding or it gets hidden behind clouds every now and then..

also read while i'm eating at times X'D

some people can read just about anywhere..
think i can.. as long as the place is quiet enough (meaning i can't catch snippets of conversations) and i'm not sitting in a car/train/bus (car and bus esecially.. coz i really can get giddy when i read on those when travelling.. and end up feeling like puking ^^;; )

I usually read in my room, or just sit on a couch. I like to use the reading room at the public library as well.

Oddly enough, I love to read at work. it's so peaceful and usually much quieter than my home. other than reading at work, i love to read in my car with the radio playing softly. the only other place i can think of that i love to read in is probably on the basement couch with the music of a video game playing in the background. but that's usually when nobody's home and i have the house to myself and a 15 year old 35 pound cat sleeping in my lap.

I enjoy sitting in criss cross on the floor in a fairly dark, quiet room reading. Maybe with music playing on a low volume. :o

Typically I will read anywhere I can lol

But the best is in a hot bath or if it's not too hot/windy etc I like to sit outside where no one bothers me.

And I always read in bed for a while before I go to sleep ^.^

In the car too, otherwise it gets boring (unless I'm the one driving lol).

But when I read it usually doesnt matter where I am, I love to read and can/will read whenever/wherever ^.^

When I was in my English class last year, my teacher did absolutely nothing. I'd get up, sit in a corner, wedge myself between the file cabinets, and read.
It was so cozy. :3
The shadows of people walking past me freaked me out though; if I cant automatically associate a shadow with something I get tense. > 3>

I've always read wherever I can, unfortunately I get car sick, so I can't read in the car. But I generally do on my bed or outside on my porch. ^_^

I prefer reading while lying in my bed, but I could probably read anywhere...

except on the bus, and that sort of bothers me. I take the bus an average of 2 hours every day, and I wish I could do something more useful with it than just annoy other passengers with my unnervingly loud music...

Curled up in bed. Hands down the greatest of all reading spots :D Although if I'm even slightly sleepy I have a habit of nodding off and drooling everywhere :/

If not there then in the bath, plenty of stinky fluffy bath bubbles and a good book is perfect. Nothing to distract you :D
