Anywhere... I'll read in my bed, on the couch, in a chair, on the floor... Sitting at a table, at a dock, by the pool, I'll even stand reading if I'm lost enough in the book. LOl!! But I think my favourite place may be on my couch. Doesn't reallt matter to me though. I mostly only care about the book =)

Some of my favorite places to read include nice, warm bubble-baths, lying down on porch swings, and in trees.

I love reading when I'm curled up on the sofa. I find that I usually only read on my bed if it's bedtime [which means less sleep which is bad], and reading on cars/buses gives me headaches.
Unfortunately, the living room right now doesn't have a sofa near a window, so it can get a little dark sometimes, which is bad for my eyes. =P |
I like reading in big comfy places with nice blankets and pillows.
But since that isn't usually available to me, I like to read in my bed, lying down, or sitting against pillows. :D |
I actually read in my closet.
I have pillows in there, and a lamp, and I can just hide away and be left alone. God, it's just so comfortable in there. D; |

I read either in my bed or on those oh so comfy couches in the second floor of campus library.

my favorite place to read is in a nice hot bubble bath, i also read in bed, in the armchair, on the sofa, and i simply love reading to my children who love it when i make up silly or funny voices for the characters

I love to read in bed, while reclining on mountains of pillows! And I just love it when I can have some sort of snack just within reach, because when I do pick a book, it's almost impossible for me to put it down. XD

I have my large bed that I love to sit on, its right under the window so I feel like a cat bathing in the sun. Or in some odd corner, on the stairs, but always somewhere quiet.
I also like to climb into tall trees and sit there to read. But almost always I have something eat or drink to go along with my large book. Some little thing I picked up. A cup of tea and a book, great mix. |
I love reading books in my room. I'll readthem while lying on my bed, on the floor. Also when I'm going to the bathroom. I sit and read. But when It's cold out, I like to curl up in my room with one of my blankets and read.

My bed is right in the corner, with a headboard [forgot the exact name for it] that has a ledge, so i move my pillows into the corner, snuggly up with some hot coco and read~ <33 |
My favorite place to read depends on the season;
During winter it's cuddled up in my warm bed with all my blankets During summer it's outside on my deck in the warm sun ^^ |
I usually read either in a nest of blankets on my bed, or in my squishy bean bag chair.

I like reading on vacation in the winter, curled up on the couch in front of the fire with slippers on and chocolate chip cookies in the oven.

my favourite place to read is in bed where it's nice and cosy plus my room gets really cold anyway so its better in bed.
But im a serious biblophile (means lover of books don't get any ideas :twisted:) and will read almost anywhere with a good book :D |
Curled up in my bed surrounded by six or seven pillows. Preferibly on cold rainy days..Cosy :D

oooh! Great question! :D I like to read in my room on my bed. I have a huge pile of pillows that I fluff up & sink into & my cat often lies on my tummy whilst my dog is keeping my toes warm :D

I like curling up on my couch while my boyfriend watches television and it's raining and howling with the wind outside. Generally our two cats sit on top of me and I've got a nice fragrant tea at hand.
And when the weather allows it I like reading in the garden. |
For me it on my bed. It gives me a really bad neck, but I read better there. I can't read sitting down. It is just not comfortable for me. I don't know why.
But with a good book I'd read anywhere. No matter how uncomfortable it is. |
I don't really read books much but when I do I go to certain areas of my house depending on the season.
Well, during summer, if the weather's good I tend to bring my foldable couch chair thing outside into my backyard in a shady area and just sit there with a nice cold cup of lemonade and read, but then after a while my eyes hurt from reading outside, because it's so bright, I move back inside and read in my room instead. During winter, I tend to sit onto of the air vent on the ground, :] It's against the wall so I can keep warm and enjoy my book. If start to get sore, I would open the foldable couch chair thing and just face it towards the window infront of the air vent, ^ o ^ Just so my feet saty warm. :3 If it's late at night ( no matter what season) I curl up in my bend with all these layers on blanket onto of me and just reead, I need alot of blanket because it's cold at night here, both summer and winter. I haven't been doing this recently because I haven't found a good book to read. -.-;; I'm very picky about the type of books I read, they have to contain a certain type of genre and have a good blurb. :3 Wow, this is really off the topic eh? Well, while I'm at it, I've been really into true stories recently! It's amazing to see how people can accomplish so much in their life.~ |
there are 3 different places for me
1- on the bus when its a really long trip 2- in bed 3- in frount of the fire when its cold. unfortunatly im having to get the train more and dont have much time to read, even when i go to bed as im too tired these days. :( |
